Ethan is waddling as fast as he can to the border. The likelihood of him catching a witness tampering/intimidation case is very low. However it is not zero, and he knows that, so we will not hear from him again, until he crosses the border to safety. For all his faults and abysmal animal treatment (rip tug), he truly loves his pets and he knows that the water and food pile will not last if he is detained for any length of time.

If Ralph somehow can’t get back to El Rancho Gunt, I wish he could go on and violate a law in every state. Collect them like souvenir spoons or bracelet charms. It’s not like he won’t be able to wiggle himself out of the strong arm of the law, greased pigs are hard to catch.

Only in a federal case (or maybe using the Internet). This is a Minnesota case, and it's a Minnesota crime. Minn. Stat. § 609.498. I'm frankly not sure this would qualify but I'd still imagine Nick may have yet another reason to have to talk to cops again, and not in a Denny's.

(In theory just involving the Internet might create federal jurisdiction but in actuality they're never or almost never going to exercise it without some direct federal interest involved.)

I still don't see a federal interest here, but Minnesota, if Aaron is telling the truth, does indeed appear fascinated by this dwarf showing up in town, openly and notoriously consorting with Rekieta, and suddenly this happens.

I think his better defense is Aaron was poking and prodding at him, too. So Ralph could probably honestly say he doesn't give a shit about Aaron's testimony, he was just responding in kind to an asshole who was bugging him.

It would create federal jurisdiction, but it wouldn't necessarily make it a federal crime. The feds both need jurisdiction (usually these days under some form of Commerce Clause authority but any constitutional source of jurisdiction where Congress can legislate under Article I) AND a federal law. The federal statute on witness intimidation seems broad enough to cover state cases, but I'm not sure if it actually does.

If it does I could see them pulling something like that in a state case where there's also a federal interest (like the locals are prosecuting some Mafia family the feds are also prosecuting). Some local drug case not involving dealing? They're not going to touch it. And similarly, Wisconsin has jurisdiction if Gunt physically was present in the state while doing whatever, but they also have zero interest in doing anything about it.

So it's going to be Minnesota or nobody. I think nothing is going to happen except the court may give Nick a tongue-lashing or order him not to engage in gay ops.

Also I think this is actually what it looks like, just Gunty rage-pigging, but it was also pretty obvious it might interest the local authorities, to whom it would look like orchestrated witness tampering, mainly because everyone involved is absolutely retarded.

My ralphaprediction: Ethan is crawling back into la casa merde on the down low right now, because he is a bitchmade looser and deathly afraid of the consequences of the last days. Meanwhile he is also trying to comprehend how Kiwis, people from the internet, manage to look like every day people while he rather resembles the jelly thing from I have no mouth and i must scream. How do they do it?

Once he reaches his crack shack he will fire up a stream and do a low energy rant about being untouchable. It's all just so incredibly pathetic. He's really just like a big fat gay Baby, but that Baby is pushing 40, has a substance abuse problem and borderline rapist tendencies. This certainly was an entertaining stunt, although i really wonder how much Gas he has left until he truly hits Rock bottom (when people truly stop caring, because he is SO pathetic).
 
If Ralph had the ability to self-reflect, he would kill himself long ago. He's also too bitch-made to swallow a shotgun.
