He definitely made her final days worse by not accepting it. Blatant disregard for her health and for the rest of the people in the hospital, who could also have caught Covid from him - or worse, whatever disease you get from coming into contact with Gunt grease.
This is the thing - Gator previously did his own show, GatorTime. And I actually really enjoyed them. The stream with Aydin Paladin is absolutely brilliant, kino. But he stopped doing them to go take care of Ralph. He could have siphoned off a few of Ralph's viewers and gone his own way, done his own thing, but he gave it up. He will say it was out of loyalty, I say it is stupidity. If he did have a new show, I bet he will give stop doing it to go sit in the background of the Retort where he will occasionally give bland takes (or sometimes channeling the ghost of either Jim or Terry A Davis) - but mostly he will be forgotten by Ralph, the cohosts, and the audience (the time Ralph forgot Gator was even on the show is nectar).
Look at how
Flamenco is doing and that is what Gator could have had. His own friends that actually care about him, small but dedicated audience, decent views, invited on to other shows, not beholden to an alcoholic pig-man. Sad.
