She should have been delighted to finally become a grandmother, to have a grandson and all that, after a whopping 37 years.

This really put the depressing situation into perspective for me. Ralph was the only person that could have visited his mom, but he chose not to. That's perhaps the shittiest thing Ralph has done to date.

But imagine if Evan actually visisted his mom in her last hours. How funny and sad that would be; Ethan's disabled, crippled brother even went to see his mom, while Ethan stayed home and wee'd like a petty lil piggy.

That's not how I remember it. She said he showed her his bank account and he had ~50k. I think his habits were totally maintainable until he started this decent into proving to us how he is not a loser. He didn't pay rent until last year.
