to me, Ralph was the glue that kept people around. sure, Gator was the tech guy and Zadan was the ace in the hole. but ralph could be funny and sometimes, even charming when they talked about topics he knew off or was interested in. its just a shame the booze and the drugs have completely taken over his life.
He didn't really know much about anything and came off disingenuous and slimy to me. He also objectively added nothing zodsm and gator couldn't do on their own, a killstream minus Ralph would be going on YouTube to this day
He used to be good at being neutral when they were covering drama and had a guest on to interview them or when there were two people on having a debate. He also was really against bringing someone on just to ambush them. Zidan and gator were too autistic to host the show on their own.
I notice a clear cognitive decline. Recently I dug up this old Killstream episode (the lulzy superchats take about an hour to really get going) and, while of course Spencer makes him look good in comparison, Ralph was jovial, quick with responses and at least kept on top of his show's happenings; this was only 15 months ago.
No he wasn't he was about as neutral as nazi Germany. He constantly brought people on to be ambushed and would join in with targeted remarks before saying " oh you're right I'm the mod only" and passing off dogpiling people as moderation fact checking or something while bringing more and more people on to dog pile the guest.

i doubt those two could carry a show on their own. atleast long term. you can hate Ralph as much as you like, that's fine. but the killstream was a crew he was part off.
saw an old episode from 2019 (the David stay one) and its suprsing how much engery he had and how he engaged with David and chat. ralph was far from the best thing of his show but he played his part well enough. there were times when he ambushed guests like Matt, Boogie, Sargon or Kenny jones but it was always when there was some drama going on. for the most part he gave people a fair shake which is why they kept coming back.
