There is usually a little bit of "giving" from the woman's side, and that's it. Ralph experiences most superficial interactions with women as deep, extremely meaningful, profound, spiritual even. To put it
simply it makes him feel good and he confuses this "good feeling" for love and thinks "I love her" when in reality all he loves is feeling good about himself for a bit. And this is HUGE make no mistake, for Ralph to have a short moments of feeling good is indeed very VERY rare, but it's not love for a woman.

This rarity of good feelings propels his delusion further and he ends up thinking it's a sign of higher love. Ralph thinks that this should naturally progress into a real relationship, you know "give and take" relationship, but if it progresses it soon becomes obvious that Ralph only takes, and never gives. Actually in many cases it's obvious without this progression, like in the example of Linx. It's even worse, he thinks that he fulfills the "giving" part by taking. The bitches reward is a satisfied Gunt. This feeling is profound, it's fucking deep and meaningful. That's all you fucking get so keep giving bitch. And don't fucking ask for more what more do you fucking want.

When we love someone maturely, we don't stop loving them when we or they are angry, nervous, sad, disappointed, when they are busy, have needs of their own, unavailable for a period of time, these things are all separated because "love" is it's own thing and is not normally dependent on all the other things. In Ralph's case what he calls love is so dependent on all these other things, things that have their own names and none of them is called "love" which he has none of, not even for himself.

So yes, Ralph's "loves" are more volatile than alcohol he drinks because this dumb mother fucker falls in love with himself in a presence of women and expects endless rewards from then on.

Ralph, next time you feel happy in the presence of a woman, acknowledge it as just that, happiness. You don't love her you are just happy. Dismiss the feeling and try to figure out if there is something you like about her, and does she like you at all. Good luck.
