When you say "autistic girls" I assume you mean biologically female? Just confirming, cause all this is kinda confusing. Do you have links or other info re the stats on the trans centre?
Yes, biologically female. I wouldn't feed into their delusion by calling them male, but I can see where your confusion came from. Sources under the spoiler to avoid derailing too hard.
On the first page of google search results of “UK gender referral clinic autistic females” I’m not finding any reference to 75% or a sudden wave of people being referred, but it does appear that young people assigned female at birth seeking treatment are more likely to be autistic than young people assigned male at birth seeking treatment. (Mind you, their sample sizes were relatively small)
Sources below.
Here is a study specific to the clinic in question:
Here is a quote from an article on autism and gender.
Here is another article with slightly different stats - though both articles were published on different dates which explains the stats.
One of the governors responsible for the centre resigned after a recent report that ultimately came to conclude the service was not fit for purpose. Quote below is taken directly from this article. If you are interested in the gender debacle in general, reading up on Tavistock is quite interesting. Plenty of staff have resigned as a result of young people - particularly autistic young people - having been fast tracked through to treatment.
Finally, this woman is suing the clinic for allowing her to take hormones as a child. An anonymous woman is also suing the clinic for failing to spot that her daughter was just autistic, not a tranny. There are some newspaper articles that may also be of interest. I've linked two below.
How the only NHS transgender clinic for children 'buried' the fact that 372 of 1,069 patients were autistic
Children cannot consent to transgender treatment, a nurse bringing a landmark legal case has said, claiming that many are autistic, homosexual or just confused.
...there seems to be a higher prevalence of autism spectrum conditions (ASC) in clinically referred, gender dysphoric adolescents than in the general adolescent population. Holt, Skagerberg and Dunsford (2014) found that 13.3% of referrals to the GIDS service in 2012 mentioned comorbid ASC (although this is likely to be an underestimate).

We know from research released by the Tavistock & Portman GIDS, that since 2011 there has been a phenomenal rise in young people accessing their services, and the group that has increased exponentially across this period, is adolescent girls. We also know that that 48% of all referrees to the Tavistock, have autistic traits, with 35% of them displaying moderate to severe traits.
