I don't think that getting a girlfriend or anything would have helped this guy. He was a misogynist and would probably have just ended up murdering his wife or something if he had done.

I believe what he needed was to develop healthy relationships with people around him. He worked in a warehouse which although it is okay pay and stable, it's not the most stimulating of jobs and very easy to just clock in-and-out without developing relationships with your co-workers.

As well, he seemed very lonely and family members didn't seem too interested in helping him (referring him to the NHS mental health services is pointless, they take forever to follow up with people and unless you should be sanctioned they aren't interested in helping unless you want to help yourself).

What would have helped him the most would be developing healthy relationships with the people around him. The easiest way to do this is to find hobbies that interest you and form friendships with people you partake in those with. He seemed interested in his health and lived in Devon, so he easily could have gotten into hiking, biking, kayaking or just any other regular outdoor activity. If he was incredibly introverted, he could have easily gone to his local game shop and played Warhammer or Magic with people and made friends that way.

Putting yourself in the position to interact with women more on a day-to-day basis and interacting less with online communities that hate women will help to reduce and violent tendencies he had against women.

I think this case is especially sad as he obviously cared about improving himself, but he latched onto an ideology that lead to him killing others for no real reason. Despite all this, I have no sympathy for him. He was easily tricked into a dangerous mindset and could have received help for this at any point in his journey. The loss of life is unforgivable, especially from someone with such retarded motives.
