So the shooter was 22 years old. He was doing the right thing by lifting weights trying to get his act together. He had trouble finding a job. But the UK had just been through 18 months of lockdowns of one form or another.
No socializing. Locked indoors at home with his mother whom he hated for one reason or another.
These are the years in which young men should be getting his act together and start seeing results when they put forth good effort. But he couldn't.
Yes. Most people don't go on shooting rampages. And most people in England don't have guns.
I am not saying this was a Grade-A bloke. But people in their prime are not the ones who are going to suffer the most in a long extended lockdown. It is the marginal people who are going to crack.
If England hadn't had various forms of lockdowns for 18 months shutting down their economy and jobs, I doubt this guy would have done what he did.
