Doesn't Pokémon GO only feature 2/3rds of the Pokémon from gen 1? And has no plot or story? Isn't a major draw of Pokémon the story and the lore and all the Pokémon you can catch? Don't know why people are getting so enthralled by a F2P game.
 
This is probably my favorite thing about this game. Just watching and hearing about people doing stupid or crazy things involved with this.

Professional Pokemon catching advice:
  1. Grab a pistol or something.
  2. Set up a lure module in a dark alley.
  3. Wait for someone to come to your dark alley.
  4. Point the gun at them and demand their phone.
  5. If all goes well, you'll have caught a whole lot of Pokemon!

Yup. You just drag and drop Pokeballs. That's pretty much the game.

I was hoping there would be some sort of battle system at the gyms like in the traditional Pokemon games but nope, it's just press buttan.

It's less interactive than your usual iPhone fare (clash of clans or whatever flavor of the month game came before this).
 
There's a guy where I live who either owns or has rented a golf cart and basically just lets people pay him to give them rides around town to all the stops and gyms. He's got mobile phone chargers on his ride and he bungee corded an ice chest full of free water to the back of it. The guy is making a killing, and I really wish I thought of that idea first. Dude's capitalizing on every fat nerd's wantonness to play Go but not want to have to walk everywhere. :lol:

Joking aside, I get to hear about this shit because my coworkers know :powerlevel:I grew up a Nintendo kid:powerlevel: (long story tl;dr- I have a ringtone they recognize) and they're on facebook constantly. Is there any truth the story making the facebook rounds that someone found a corpse while playing it? I didn't bother to look it up because Facebook is oldwives-tale central.
