I have no idea why this is so popular because it is really barebones. It's not bad, just basic.

But I think it's just a matter of time before some kid gets abducted by a pedo that drops a lure on a pokestop.
Nancy Grace is warming up her vibrator for just such an occasion.

I mean unless the people responsible for the game actually would hit safe individuals up to do it on the side for promotions and such but I doubt it.
:powerlevel:Back when I was a pokemon sperg in the 90's I was a co-gym leader with my neighbor. We had our own badge and everything. As soon as we got home from school and didn't have plans to play Super Contra we'd be doing gym battles with kids from the neighborhood using the cards=game or those figurines that came with the pog-like coins you flipped. We also did digimon card fights on the side. Never got into Yu-Gi-Oh, thank god.:powerlevel:

So I wouldn't doubt that there's be people who do this shit for free, it's just the thought that an adult is doing it- that's the creepy part.

Depends which thing you're talking about. If it's this guy then I don't think so. Comes off as a really bad ruse. The girl referenced early on could be what you're talking about but I don't know anything about that.

I'm not sure. I only heard it by word of mouth and that word had a heavy accent, but I had the assumption that it was a long-dead and properly rotten body that was stumbled across in the Vegas area.

But fucking el-oh-el at that video tryna be creepy-pasta.

I downloaded Pokemon Go and caught a pokemon at like nine at night in the middle of the street, a kid on the other side of the street was with his dad and started crying because I caught it before he did

Kid almost ran into the street but his dad called him a stupid dick, and all I could think was, "the future is not ready for this real life pokemon shit"

I ran inside and locked my door, and that was my first and only time I played pokemon go, I'll stick to handheld pokemon games thanks

So I downloaded it awhile ago, have really actively done much. I've never liked walking around while texting, even. So I just glance once in a while.
Caught a Drowzee today cause my phone vibrated. But it is amazing how much more acceptable this seems to be than the legit Pokemon games. And even though people seem to always walk around with there self phones in the faces, people now automatically assume people are playing.. And are usually correct.

Also, there are signs along the interstate that usually say something about texting and driving, and will change them around the holidays or prom season to something about drunk driving. All of them I have seen recently say "Drive now. Catch Pokemon later"
 
I just know I saw some kids running over a four lane street midsection, just to get to the park on the other side, all holding phones in their hand. Only one of them had the idea to use the tunnel undearneath the street, that was meant for crossing purposes.
It's like natural selection in handheld form.
