Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

Il Ima said "I'm impressed you didn't use your Z-Power!" and all I thought was "Bitch, you're gonna be impressed I'm gonna forget all about that garbage."

Like "Mega" Evolution, I pay no mind to gimmicks like this.

Mega Evolution has a much bigger impact than Z-moves tho.

Z-moves are just a powerful attack, which is nice but doesn't change things.

...anyhoo, I need two more things 'till the regional dex is done I think. Maybe three.

I'd rather have the z-moves despite how repetitively cinematic they are. Mega Evolutions are incredibly power-creepy. I remember just about everyone having Mega Rayquaza on their teams for PSS battles on ORAS because of how fucking broken it was.

I bought moon 2 days ago and I like it - especially the fact that the characters look like actual "humans" instead of small figures.

how fucking broken it was.

Wish everyone would stop fucking complaining and creating terms ("broken") to justify them being sore losers. This is why I wasn't that interested in pursuing competitive video game play.

It is broken though.

I think the base stat total of a Mega Rayquaza is very close to 800, and it either has the highest base total or is tied for it.

Even the other mega evolutions don't come close to that, and it's more than 100 higher than regular legendaries, which are themselves usually really powerful.

That's not even getting into the typing or movepool of a Mega Rayquaza...

Actually if it used a Mega Stone like the two Mega Mewtwo(Who have the same stat total), it would be a lot weaker. Even its counterparts Primal Groudon and Primal Kygore(both with 10 less stat total) have to give up an item for transforming. The thing that makes Mega Rayquaza so bonkers is that it has stats on-par with these four Pokemon WITHOUT using up its item slot, Meaning it can go with Life Orb, Choice Band, Choice Scarf, ect. The "Cost" of using its mega is having to use a Flying-type Close Combat as one of its four moves.

The only smart move Gamefreak has made regarding this Pokemon is that it cannot Mega Evolve and use a Z move in the same fight, even though it can hold a Z stone and have Dragon Ascent at the same time.

Do we have a date for when the Pokemon bank will be updated?

Certain pokeballs are not available for certain pokemon, for example if you can't catch a pokemon in the wild it cannot be in a Beast Ball.

Those things can be inherited, though. :( I've been trying to breed Eevees with fairly-high IVS (relatively superior potential) from a kind of decently-I'VE Eevee I got from Japan... And wouldn't you know it, every one of those little boogers has that fugly ball their daddy did..! ;__; I'm thinking of breeding a second gen just to give them Heal Balls or something else cute! :(

I wish I could hide the gen 2 balls somewhere I can't use them.

I could dump them on a boxmon I suppose.

It's behind the Hano Grand Resort. You can even see it on the Rotom Dex map when you're on the beach.

I'm guessing the golf course was originally going to be a trial venue before getting scrapped to make room for the Water/Fire/Grass trials. Because having four of them on one island would have been too much (probably also why we're given seven instead of eight like the gyms in past games).

Maybe we'll get it in Stars or whatever the hell the next game will be called.

I've been hunting for a shiny rockruff and a shiny slowpoke doing the SOS tactic since I beat the game, but haven't had any luck at all for over a month. (:_(

It is. But there is a little more to it than that. There's evidence of cut content.

If you use a walk through walls cheat to get there, the camera changes angle and zoom at certain points as you walk down the course. It zooms out when going down the stairs from the hotel to the course, and changes angle halfway down the course. These transitions are unique to this area, so signs point to this being walkable space at one point. The transitions remained after they scrapped this idea.

When it's a Female + Male of different species, the offspring inherit the mother's Pokeball
When it's a Female + Male of the same species, the offspring can inherit either parent's Pokeball
When it's any breedable Pokemon + Ditto, the offspring inherits the non-Ditto parent's Pokeball

Master Balls and Cherish Balls cannot be inherited

I caught a Shiny Lillipup last night. What's with Shiny's this generation? Because I know over every Generation, that system gets tweaked for more and more new methods of Shiny obtainment.

Anyway, I'm not interested in training up this thing, might use it for a trade for my White Vulpix (Shiny White Vulpix, especially)

I have a Shiny Midday Lycanrock you can have if you want it, I got it via GTS a while back.

I accidentally used some Gen 2 balls/apricorn balls and regret it now, especially knowing way too late you only get one of each in the entire game. :'(

I can't wait for Pokebank to be available for S/M because I have so many things I wanna transfer over!
