My younger sister gave me Pokemon Y for my birthday if anyone wants to exchange friend codes.

YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!! I WANT IT! I admit I'm growing impatient...

Anyways, I like how in the artwork that was released that shows Team Aqua and Magma together, if you look really closely you can see a male grunt staring at Shelly's ass as well as the obvious one ogling over her and of course the one tripping. I think it was going for that whole order vs chaos thing with that piece of artwork since it shows Team Magma all orderly doing their whole salute thing... I dunno...

I decided after Black and White 2 that those will be the end of Pokemon for me, frankly there does come a point were you just want to put the Poke Dex away and see what more there is to life. X & Y just didn't impress me enough to draw back into it. Mega Evolutions? Completely horrible. I hate seeing all my classic favorite Pokemon "modified" like this. They were all really powerful already, and the designs just don't do it for me. The Fairy-Type, I liked on the surface, and the whole idea is really cool you know. It was good to give the Dragon-Type a new weakness. The Fairy-Type was probably the only new thing I liked. But my biggest disappointment? The small number of new Pokemon, ringing in at only 69 this generation. But at least I'm willing to accept the simple reason why this is; They had to render those and all the other 500+ existing Pokemon in 3D for this installment. I don't even own a 3DS and like I say all over the internet "That just isn't enough to make me want to buy the new system."

Fans of X & Y, and Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire or whatever, you enjoy your games, but my quest to become a Pokemon Master is over.

Except, of course, on the hack side of things! I've been spending the time around with Pokemon Christmas (because snow is awesome) and the other day I downloaded Pokemon Glazed, after having heard some very nice things about it. Its really hard though, the first gym has a freaking tricky Jolteon.

I barely played B/W/B2/W2. I managed to finish white but I never did finish black 2. I thought it was lazy and I really didn't like any of the Pokemon.

But they won me back over with X/Y. I like just about everything. I've done an insane amount of trading and I now have every single legendary in the series, plus a full set of shiny eeveelutions. Am I a massive loser? Yes. Yes I am.

I actually like mega evolutions. I disagree that they're all unnecessary. Some of them totally are, like Mega Garchomp. Garchomp was already massively OPed, the last thing he needed was a mega form. However many of the other mega evolutions gave that extra edge to so-so Pokemon and gave them the boost they needed to become competitive. I will also never, ever say no to a new evolution of Venusaur <3.

I'm looking forward to the demo but I didn't ever thing Emerald was all that amazing so I don't know how I'll feel about the re-remakes. I'm never as enthusiastic about remakes as I am about new games because the cash grab is just a little too blatant (not that making a 6th gen of Pokemon isn't a massive cash grab in and of itself).

I'm still waiting on news about the American version of the demo. Hopefully, it will be fairly easy to obtain.

Personally, I loved X/Y, especially with some of the adjustments they made to breeding and all. And honestly, I'm looking forward to ORAS, especially the improved Secret Bases, and just how they're shared. With the ease of actually sharing the things compared to the old days, I think it'll be a lot better, especially if building one's own pseudo-gym actually works out.

If anyone has access to a Friend Safari with Eevee in it and wants to help me out, I could really use a female Eevee with its Hidden Ability and in a premier ball.

For those of you in North America, make sure you have a Pokemon Trainer Club account and that said account is set to receive newsletters in order to get a code for the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire demo.

That'll be coming out on the 20th, right?

I opted in when I joined last year and I've never gotten anything from them. I didn't even get the megastone codes. They are going to fucked this up for Canadians and probably Americans to. Calling it now.

Welp, that was quick. Hackers already dissected the demo and many things were revealed:

-There seems to be no other megas, at least in the demo's coding, that weren't already known about
-Hoopa, one of the two 6th gen Pokemon that has yet to be officially revealed has a new form that's much more powerful but is Dark/Psychic like Inkay and Malamar instead of its unique Ghost/Psychic. Also has a new signature move for this new form(Pictured in the second spoiler)
-You can refight the E4 with a stronger team, each member having a Mega
-Wallace is the 8th gym leader and Steven is the Champion, like RS. Juan is nowhere to be found in the coding
-There are additional refights with both Brendan/May(Finally having a fully evolved starter) and Wally
-Rock Smash is an HM again, Secret Power takes its place as a TM
-All the move tutor moves are ones also found in 5th gen except three: Water Pulse, Shock Wave, and Focus Punch, which were all TMs in 3rd and 4th gen. So oddly none of the new 6th gen moves(and thus no fairy moves) are available via tutor.
-Minor tweaks to movepools include Gyarados getting Crunch, meaning Mega Gyarados finally has a reliable Dark-type move

Here is a picture of one of the spoilers mentioned above:
