Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

They gave an entire video to this, but they shoved in the new Snap game with the other mobile trash.

Probably why people are annoyed.
Having grown up playing Snap on the N64 I find that rather sad, but at the same time not unexpected given Nintendo thinks in mysterious ways.

Seriously though, I'm so glad I jumped ship after US/UM.

The amount of disappointment /vp/ has on this fucking ASSFAGGOTS is quite kekful to watch.
I really don't get why, after the last presentation I didn't expect too much since the only interesting thing was Snap. the games have been going in a downward spiral anyway, so this shit spin off is just more fuel to the dumpster fire.

My expectations were already low, and I'm still disappointed.

Its a good idea on paper, but most fans (at least the Western ones) would have rather a Sinnoh remake or a remastered Pokemon Stadium or Coliseum.

Who exactly will play this?

No idea why they thought devoting an entire stream to a MOBA to a fanbase that consists of mostly casual players who don't care about them would be a good idea. This is Diablo Immortal levels of misunderstanding your target audience.

That being said, the game looks alright I guess, although I'm not too much of a fan of MOBAs honestly.
Same. It could probably be an okay time waster. Although, I don't much about Tencent, but from what I heard their involvement isn't going to help it.

It seems to be little more than a pretty mediocre MOBA. Hardcore MOBA players are just going to stick with LoL/DOTA/SMITE, and casual players don't seem to like MOBA-style gameplay at all, so this game seems to have a very small target audience, if any target audience at all.

Never gonna happen. They haven't released anything "Stadium," related since Battle Revolution for the Wii, which was only compatible with D/P/P games. B/W/B2/W2 didn't even get it's own "stadium" related game. And considering all the Pokemon games have been 3D since X/Y, not to mention we're no longer in a day and age where people are still using transfer/game packs to use their own pokemon to play other people, I don't think there's a point into making any "stadium" related game unless they go with the "original story" route like they did with Gale Of Darkness for the GameCube.

Also those games were developed by other companies (HAL & Genius Sonority Inc.). If they gave another company the go-ahead to develop another "stadium" game, it would have to be a company that would put in the same amount of effort as current-year GameFreak. Stadium through Battle Revolution had so many animations for different moves and the pokemon themselves were more animated and had an actual fucking personality. GameFreak would NEVER approve of that shit in this day and age.

Figured as much. I have forgotten that the games were created by another company.
One that gave more life to the Pokemon and their moves then what Nintendo could ever hope to do.

Eh. I could dream, right?

Maybe its a good thing there isn't a Sinnoh remake yet. Seeing the disaster that is Sword and Shield and what it could have been--it makes me sad. :(

You know when I first saw it was a moba, I'm like "maybe it could work" then I saw Tencent and I was like "Oh Fuck No"

Then when they plug that cute Nintendo "Free to Start" people are gonna be turning into fucking Wailords when it comes to this shitfest.
What's bad about Tencent besides being a Chinese company?
