The guy summed up the negatives in a quarter of the time KingK's video did lol.
Like I agree that those negatives have hurt the generation, especially on a technical level and definitely in hindsight, but it's still gonna take a lot to change my mind on Johto as a region. (Also, did Azumarill really suck that hard back then? Azumarill was my MVP in Silver and was my very first Pokémon I raised to level 100, I adore my aqua rabbit so very much. I wish the battery drain hadn't been a big issue, I could've been able to go back and look at my team to make sure I'm not remembering things wrong because I swear Azumarill was the queen of my team. But yeah, was really bullshit Dark-type Pokémon were post-game only.) If anything, I think what I truly love the most about it is the lore and that's been a constant given throughout the years every time I think back and return to Johto. I have my Pokémon favorites from the gen, but the region itself was so much different compared to Kanto. There was more life to it, I felt, and the magical moment of first walking into Ecruteak City and hearing the somber tune of its history and then learning about its myths was what got me to believe Johto was something special. (This was before or after solving the Kabuto puzzle, can't recall.)
