Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

I'm just gonna rant cause I'm drunk.

Breh this remake is an utter trash fire and it's not even out yet.
All I wanted was the full pokedex, like the old days. they should now have switch level models for all the pokemon.
Now they are just doing the bare minimum and yet people still buy it. very sad. the worst part is that niggas are out here defending this shit.

I blame Jewish people for this, I'm not sure how they are behind it but I know they are.

Look, I'm expecting some form of day 1 patch if only because there's apparently both midi and non-midi songs in there, and the only way that makes sense is if the former are placeholders. Moreover, it is confirmed through trailers that properly composed versions exist.

But it's still really bizarre because there's never been so much unfinished stuff in the shipped version.

Main development was probably spend on legends until the team realized, "Oh shit people still want gen 4 remakes" and this was made at the last minute, it's the only way to explain this shit.

How dare you shit talk Regieleki and Draco! They are awesome and you should feel bad for hating them!
Their names are stupid, should’ve been Regidragon and Regilectric. Regidrago looks stupid, I guess Regieleki looks okay. But what the fuck is “crystallized dragon energy”? How does one make a golem out of electricity? The original 3 Regis made sense. And why does Regigigas not have spots on his body for the new Regis? Such a stupid retcon to the Regi lore.

A lot of pokemon's names can be considered stupid (Sneasel, butterfree, lickilicky, etc.) and, while I would have preferred the eletric one's names to be Regilectric, regidrago rolls off the tongue better than regidragon imo.

What I said about their names also applies to their lore.

Regieleki at least makes sense in Japanese, since Eleki is the loan word for electric, like how they wrote out Rock, Ice, and Steel the same way, and it's possible "Regielectric" was too long to localize like that, as it'd be the longest Pokemon name so far at 12 characters. Regilectric would work I suppose, but it looks just as weird as Regieleki to me. Drago has no excuse, just stick an n on the end. There are already a few Pokemon with Dragon in their name. I'm wondering if they had a specific reason to go with Electric and Dragon, or if it was just random. Past their names, the first three titans have very similar movesets and stats, while the latter two are just barely imitating them. Even if their movesets might be technically better, and more interesting, it takes away from being part of the group.

It also wouldn't surprise me if they only made these two to show everyone that they can do more than just capitalize off of gen one's popularity. They could've just made Galarian Latios and Latias if they wanted to stick with Gen 3, and they only wanted to make two new mons, and it would've been a million times more understandable, and more likeable.

I just wish they actually bothered translating Regieleki’s name. I don’t understand the autism where legendaries/mythicals/Pikachu clones have to have the same name in almost all languages.

I mean, it'd align with my old belief that Legends was meant to be a DP remake, got way too experimental, and then they asked Ilca to make a true remake.

Pal park is also inaccessible in the prerelease - which is also wild, as we actually have a map for that with extra caves that have long been the subject of speculation. So there's definitely some kind of patch coming.

There's a guess that maybe the postgame is deliberately not included pre-day 1 patch, as they were expecting it to leak.

It also doesn't have an intro cutscene.

edit: actually a reward for a swsh save for some reason

Has the actual BDSP NSP/XCI been dropped publicly yet? For now, it just seems like one guy posting stuff which seems kinda fishy.

some fags on /vp/ claim they have it rn, case in point this retard https://boards.4channel.org/vp/thread/48645866 but I doubt anyone if they have it will leak it, leaker fags act like a gay secret treehouse fort or some shit

Kingdom Hearts 3 also did this with part of the ending, but they at least put out a statement confirming that the game disc was incomplete on purpose. Considering Game Freak's half assing this gen, whether it's on purpose or rushed is still up for debate. Beyond leaks there's also review copies, which no matter how much you tell an outlet not to spoil the game, someone will for those sweet sweet clicks.

I hope they eventually release an updated version to cart on a later run for future collecting purposes like they did with Sword and Shield with its DLC. The best way to not have leaks is to just not put it on the cart, so I understand where they're coming from on the initial run though.
