Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

Leaks look dope in some regards some of the designs look lazy. But does anyone want a shiny eternatus code i grabbed a bunch today when i was out and about. Id rather not give them to reddit faggots.

Some game fluff hinting at the DLC was apparently found in the game.

It’s basically a mishmash of the three Legendary Beasts and I suspect that Paradox Virizion will be the same thing (with the possibility of having Keldeo thrown in for consistency’s sake).

EDIT: HP-recovering moves like Roost and Recover have had their PP counts nerfed, they’re now limited to 5 PP. Stallfags on suicide watch.

EDIT 2:
Protean has been nerfed, it now only activates once each time the Pokemon enters the battle instead of activating whenever the Pokemon attacks. There are also rumors that Intimidate only works once per battle in order to prevent stacking stat drops.

I hope that Suicune is the first triple typed Pkmn. It looks badass.

>Weed Cat has Protean
>Protean is nerfed
>Weed Cat is now ugly and less competitively viable

(:_(
Honestly, I might just rely on Terastalising it, and keep Overgrow. I get three stabs that way, and my choice isn't limited to types of moves Meowscarda learns.

My suspicion is that they actually have abilities that set the field with an effect that aligns with the type they're originally associated with, to act as counters to the legendary bikes. So F Virizion gives grassy terrain to counter Miraidon's electric terrain, and A suicune has a drizzle-like ability to counter Koraidon's drought-like one.

Man, I don't know if I'm a fan of some of the move changes and move culling is something I have hated since SwSh. Hail being removed is just weird... they removed the half it did of Sandstorm and replaced it with the other half of Sandstorm when it was already the weakest weather and it already had that weaker comparison to sandstorm. I also really dislike the idea of limiting abilities, it just feels wrong especially since it's such a departure from how secondary effects have never persisted between switches. Intimidate is one of the best abilities sure, but if it only comes out once and it's effect is removed by switching that seems like an in-balance between what is kept track of and what isn't. Let's hope they at least give the unit Regigigas a saved number of active turns on switch with this new space-age technology of simple programming flags.
Tbf, that other half of sandstorm was part of what made Hail so shit - you literally could only run ice types or take residual damage. Sandstorm did three types.
And like Sandstorm, it's buff is where it's representative types more commonly need it.

Do they still waste two seconds per turn telling you that your character is being affected by it? That was the most obnoxious shit in SwSh, I avoided hanging out in those areas because of it.

People who have been playing the game have figured out how breeding works.
Picnics basically function as mobile Day Care Centers. You need to have two compatible Pokémon in your party and it’ll eventually generate an Egg. Normal breeding rules like Egg Moves, Masuda Method, and Ball inheritance still apply. It’s not known what happens if you have more than two compatible Pokémon (in the form of three or more Pokémon sharing an Egg Group or having two different breeding pairs). You can also make sandwiches that boost Egg production.

A fan-favorite mechanic from PLA has made a return in SV.
It’s outbreaks, they’re a daily feature and you can reset them by mucking about with the Switch’s calendar like you could with SWSH’s Raid Dens.

Something about Paradox Pokémon has been discovered.
They’re not Shiny-locked and you can get multiple copies each species.

Oh, and the Day 1 patch is 1 GB in size. It’s smaller than BDSP’s Day 1 patch (which was 2.4 GB) but it’s larger than PLA’s (which I can’t find the file size for but I remember the download finishing up fairly quickly).

Ash doesn't get Alain'd in his Grand Final match against Leon, and wins it! The episode even had cameo appearances from Ash's old team, i.e. Butterfree, Primeape, Pidgeot, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Greninja, to name a few, show up.

TPC also posted this result on all of their social media, even spoiling the outcome for English-speaking viewers, which are not on that episode yet.

Japanese Yahoo article about the episode

Ash's win was even broadcasted, as it were a news report.

Unfortunately, we won't get to see Ash salt for him getting fucked over in a Finale, this time.

The anime really did have this endgame feel going for it. Ash may still be going to the new region anyway, but I just want to know if OLM is going to treat it with more respect than Galar or continue to give the new regions the shaft.

GF appears to have carried over the BDSP (even though it was due to how ILCA programmed that game) and PLA clauses, in regards to movesets.

So Scald is effectively removed from the game now.

What a fucking dick move to make Scald a signature move for a legendary.Well done Game Freak.

It also screws over a lot of Event Pokémon with unique moves and Event-only moves. Those include Happy Hour, Hold Back, the M14 Victini with Fusion Flare and Fusion Bolt, and the 15th anniversary Rayquaza with V-Create.
