Wow you are literally retarded. You know how these aren't the sane continuity? Because it was literally never supposed to be, this isn't a matter of the alternative timelines in gen 6. They just don't care about canonicity because there was never supposed to be one. In the same way that the hard concept of time doesn't exists in pokemon overall. They don't tell you; it took you 3 in game days to traverse route 32 because that was never the point of the story. You can have ash be 10 years old for one thousand episodes and that is fine because they quickly dropped any pretense of canonicity even existing at the first place.
And even when it does happen (pokemon special), it is more because of the internal logic of the story than anything else in the other parts of the franchise. The pokémon anime can add one billion towns between cities in the game not because it is a separated canon, bit because they don't matter at all and there is no canon either way.
I dont think there is anyone who says: "in the sapphire canon of the third gen, new mauville was destroyed at this point" because even pokemon fans understand that there isn't a canon. You can do your gigantic pokemon island, Crystal pokémon, fusions, your pokemon mystery dungeon shenanigans, your legends of Arceus stuff because there never was a pokémon canon.
I posted in this very thread earlier an example of functions that were dropped by the devs regarding the TV function, to the point where they were already at the phase of counting how much space it would take in the cartridge.
"Ah but it is space, not time". Wrong, because if they had time to clear the unused spacefrom the code needed to implement such function, they could use even more that is already on the game.
And we only know this because we have these files, they managed to clear the space from the cartridge so there was very few cut content in the code of the games back then. There are games like GTA SA where they didn't had even time to remove so people actually get to see dialogue, missions, vehicles, modes and so on that was cut from the game. And that is only because they had enough space on the dvd discs.
And since you mentioned disney and canon, I will say again: canon doesn't exists in pokemon, it is so flexible that you can do whatever you want. And going back to disney: Star Wars. I know exactly what canon means, in star wars canon matters because it is all in a single universe most of it, this was never the case in pokémon. In star wars you cant have two sequel stories existing at the same universe to what happened to Luke skywalker. You have either the old expanded universe or the Disney one. Canon doesn't mean good either. Disney Star Wars is the canon one at the moment and I dont care about it and will prefer the old one. Now pokemon does this happen? No. It never ever happens, you can have all the different stories set here and they all are pokémon with the same characters and all of them just works because there is no canon in pokémon.
Here an example of a completely unrelated manga where there is a super powerful tyranitar that can fly.
And to finish: the word canon doesn't even exists in japanese, it is a western concept that I've seen time and time again being used in fictional media that the creators themselves just do their thing without giving a fuck.
If a fan uses all these dropped content into a pokémon game, and release a good game, I dont care if it was fanmade or not, if it is a good game, that is the point. Not because of supposed canonicity, official or anything like that. It literally doesn't matter, not because it isn't in the game, but because it could be, and if it could be, id they manage to put it back and be a better experience, so be it.
