Speaking of the pokephilia leaks, I would say the damage is done. Nobody cares if there was mistranslation or not, Typhlosion/Slaking are always going to be rapists and Lapras/Octillery will always be horndogs wanting human dick.
I think this is missing the point somewhat, but only because what them making a bunch of similar stories [with the first one being about Piloswine of all things being the guy who forces himself on a human] would mean.
It doesn't matter what Pokémon it is because the point is the myth, the folklore, so any Pokémon can be put in there. Humans go into the mountain and the mountain creature takes them away. Humans go to the sea and the sea creature leaves them a rotten kid. Start a war when your wife gets shot by hunters because she was a literal bear and then God comes over and breaks the goddamn planet to pieces to teach you all a lesson.
And of course, in a lot of those stories, there's always a ritual of the dead Pokémon having its eyes, its heart, and its voice sacrificed to a fire, which is supposed to represent Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf [who even get called "Ghost Pokémon" at times]. The concept they were going with is of Sinnoh folklore being all about following rituals and if you don't follow them - if you disrespect nature by overhunting or doing needless harm - you get punished.
[I also find it really amusing that the stories of the Pokémon who takes in a human wife end with the Pokémon getting killed by his wife's family, which he says is inevitable and is why he teaches her the ritual of what to do with his dead body. Meanwhile the stories about the Ursarings involve them massacring an entire village in revenge for overhunting and leaving a baby cub behind to be raised by a survivor so that he can guide the souls of the dead away, which requires that same ritual.]
I'm actually surprised about how many stories they told had to do about bears.
...anyway, my point is, it's not that Typhlosion and Slaking are rapists, it's that
EVERY POKÉMON IS A RAPIST OR A HORNDOG and that's fucking hilarious.
But hey, in their lore, Pokémon and humans are literally the kids of Dialga and Palkia respectively, so of course Pokémon would want humans.
