This is why I hate wonder trade.
I've actually been breeding a lot of Mudkips and giving them out over wonder trade. I've gotten a lot of interesting things. I also give out a lot of Eevees. I make it a point to give out stuff I'd want to receive myself because I mostly only train stuff I get from others because it it cuts down on the time they need trained drastically. My first and currently only level 100 is a Japanese Pangoro.
Also, I still have to thank Venasaur for being amazing and trading me all sorts of cool stuff. If you've got access to all of starters you can pretty much trade them for anything else you want as long as it's reasonable.
Also, a double post, but I have a fun little story to share.
I was a little kid when the original game came out, and I loved it. When Gold/Silver came out, I nearly flipped my shit. Remember all the crazy rumors? Even official gaming magazines were wildly flinging out any half baked idea.
Anyways, my birthday, August 23rd, 2000. Pokemon Gold/Silver was the only thing I wanted. Of course it wasn't released yet.
Well, I did technically get what I wanted. A pre-order slip for Pokemon Gold which, back then, pre-order slips were much more than a receipt of purchase. Anyways I was retarded or something and didn't understand why there were different regional release dates, because the gaming magazines always gave the JP release date. Anyways I was basically like a junkie without his fix and was going fucking crazy. I'd bother my mom every day about it.
Eventually she told me the Japanese populace were intentionally holding off giving the US Pokemon, I don't remember how she convinced me, but I do remember yelling 'THOSE GODDAMN JAPANESE!'. Anyways cue me getting in trouble

I still have probably never been happier as when I actually received it though. Partly because it was awesome, and partly because my brother didn't have w copy and could only look on hopelessly at my enjoyment
