Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

Oh man. I rewatched some of the pokemon anime when it was brought into Netflix and holy crap is it awkward. The characters' speech is so stilted in order to match up to the mouth movements and even then you can tell there's a discrepancy between what the characters were originally talking about and what the dub company (4kids right?) wrote. It's so awkward.
Also it's really boring and yes, Ash sucks at life.

The repeating of storylines was what annoyed me the most.

I mean I get it's an anime that is basically mass produced to all hell. But like I feel like I see the same characters over and over again, with the same basic premise repeated each season.

At least Digimon changed it up a little each season and had new characters and new premises. Hell I thought that one spinoff anime Pokemon Chronicles was way better if only because it had different characters and was just in general more interesting. But it only lasted 22 episodes, and has only been released on DVD in the UK and Australia.

In Japan that was never a spinoff, they merely collected all of the special episodes(Except Mewtwo Returns, which was treated as a movie internationally) and put them in one collection and gave it a name to make it sound like a spinoff series. Some are from completely different parts of the show's run. In fact they still make special episodes starring non-ash characters. (I don't watch the show anymore, I kind of stopped partway through johto, but I do out of curiosity see what the show's up to once in a while)

In that I hate that they butchered the Raikou special. First they split it into multiple episodes for no reason, then they turn one of the team rocket dudes into a chick(he had the deepest voice in the Japanese version). Then they completely fuck up the script with completely different dialogue in many parts. Not to mention all three kids were given completely different names then what they were already given in the main show and a character from the video games was given the wrong name, too.

Yeah, I always found it weird that they turned that guy into a chick, but somehow Harley, a very flamboyant character, was somehow not despite 4Kids' censorship habits at the time.
 
I guess there's a Fancy pattern Vivillon out now! You can do so via the Mystery Gift feature on the main menu and by selecting the “Get Via Internet” option!

Yeah, looks adorable, my vivillon menagerie is kinda lacking though, I'm not really a series collector, I just collect as I wonder trade my reject offspring that don't make the cut for me as better breeding stock for me or for other people that I'm breeding them for/trading with
 
Anyone got one of those Pokeball patterned Vivillons they'd be willing to trade? I've got a few shinies i can give in exchange. Also prefer it to be a legit one, as I'm trying to get it for a friend
 
HECK YES! SECRET BASES CONFIRMED! From what I saw, I like what I see and how everything is rendered and it looks like there are some new fun features... nothing I'm like really super excited about, but it definitely gives more fun stuff to do with friends and stuff.

I also don't like Aarune's fedora... and that beard... just look at this screenshot and the way he stares at you... it's creepy... I'm probably on the internet too much... the character design would otherwise be completely innocent.

So I am playing Pokemon X and I'm looking for a few Pokes, namely:

Squirtle
Someone with a water type Friend Safari so I can get a Protean Greninja/Frogadier/Froakie or is willing to trade one
Various patterned Vivillons (mostly looking for Ocean, Sun and Savannah but I'd be happy to trade for anything that isn't River, Modern or Fancy)

I have several strains of Pokerus, plus tons of River Vivillons I can trade. I have most of the starter Pokemon and I can infect anything I send with Pokerus.
 
Resetting for a decent Mewtwo. Goddamn he's being evasive. I caught Zapdos and Zekrom (in white, which I just finished) with a single dusk ball so I'm a bit raw about it. Ah, there it goes. Bet the nature is crap though.

If you'r trying to get a certain nature, get a pokemon with the nature you want that has the synchronize ability and put them at the front of your party.

Does that have any permanent affect on the rest of the party, or do you just have to stay like that if you want a certain nature?

It doesn't affect the other pokemon in your party, only wild ones you encounter. From Bulbapedia:
From Pokémon Emerald onwards, if a Pokémon with this Ability is leading the party, there is a 50% chance that wild Pokémon encountered will have the same Nature as the Pokémon with Synchronize. This does not apply to roaming or gift Pokémon. In Emerald, it does not apply to stationary Pokémon, such as Regirock or Rayquaza.
