imagine being born anything but a galarian meowth.

Got to admit all these changes are absolute kino. Hopefully they dont hand out the new rare candies like crazy though. But i think the fact that the leakers didnt mention means thankfully they probably didnt.

I just wish they got some secondary typings to match their themes though that would mean scorebunny's would probably have been fighting.
for example Inteleon is my favorite but for a spy pokemon wouldn't it make sense to give him psychic for intel gathering?
Fire/Electric could work for Cinderace. Electrical muscle stimulation is popular with athletes and muscles generate a (very weak) electric field. Plus electricity moves fast and he literally as "race" in his name.
Grass/Normal would work best for Rillaboom so he could advantage of all the sound-based Normal type moves.

How did they change them?

I mean, we have EXP candies. Maybe I'm a dumb dumb, but having rare candies with EXP candies seems kinda redundant

Especially when the Bigger EXP candies seem to be able to level your pokemon by a number of levels for one candy

I don't like the new customization stuff. It's creepy.

They added all of these details to make every Pokemon unique, and everyone who didn't give a crap but who played competitively groaned enough for Game Freak to make them meaningless. Good job, guys.

From what I've heard, the nature changing is similar to Hyper Training. As in, your Nature stays the same, but the stats reduced/boosted are changed to that of another nature. For Hyper Training, your IV's aren't actually 31 after the boosts, they just are treated as such for calculating stats in combat, which is why that Pokemon's Hidden Power doesn't change type after undergoing it(Also why Pokemon display their non-Hyper Trained stats in Pokemon Bank).

Oh, the bases are kept the same? Well... okay. That's cool.

Apparently Cuckcord is taking down servers spreading the leaks.

Even ignoring the fact that basically everything people need to know about the game has been dumped online (short of the finest details like mon stats and such, but those will be datamined later) and therefore is impossible to stamp out now, this just reeks of half-assed damage control. While takedowns of leak spreaders is nothing new, I'm willing to bet they wouldn't be this flipped out about it were it not for the legions of pissed off fans as a result of the information getting out (as pointed out in earlier posts, the Japanese crowd had almost no idea the dex cut was even happening at all as it was never properly addressed over there, just here in the West).

EDIT UPDATE: Bamboozled, apparently this was made up for attention. Carry on.

Nah, they stapled the guy who leaked the lets go games to the wall too. The only reason it was such a shit show is because the leakers were actually in the double digit iq range and were sloppy in every aspect.

Well, to be fair the competitive side of the pokemon fanbase is pretty substantial. Hell, there's an official event for competitive pokemon battling (Granted it's purely doubles, but it counts). Not to mention, that some players outside of competitive battling also wanted a feature like this.

Speaking of competitive in better news, EV training tedium is effectively gone. The features trailer released today showed a Gengar being given 26 Calciums (to boost Sp. Attack EVs). Now, in the past you were limited to only being allowed to use 10 vitamins to boost a stat, and with 10 EVs given each, that amounted to only 100 EVs to the maximum of 252 one stat can have. But now you can use vitamins to max out an EV stat in one go.
