DELPHI, Ind. (WLS) -- Indiana State Police are expected to release more details Monday morning about an arrest in the 2017 murder of two girls in Delphi

Police are expected to name the suspect during a news conference in Delphi at 9 a.m. Central Time.

Residents told ABC7 they've interacted with the suspect multiple times and said the individual reportedly worked at a local pharmacy.

Sources tell ABC's Indianapolis affiliate a person has been arrested in connection with the murders.

"The state police never really discussed details on what was found at the scene, but the belief all along is that there was at least some sort of genetic material," Brad Garrett, ABC News contributor and former FBI agent. "Clearly they have something that links him to the crime."

The case has been shrouded in mystery since February 2017 when 13-year-old Abby Williams and 14-year-old Libby German seemingly disappeared after going for a hike. Their bodies were found the next day.

"How did this come to light almost five years after this crime was committed?" Garret said. "Something broke in recent days, at least to the point that it gave them enough probable cause and evidence to arrest this new person."

The girls' killer was able to avoid capture, even with thousands of tips coming in to police and despite one of the teens, Libby, taking this grainy video the day of their disappearance showing a man walking towards the girls.

Authorities have said he may be the killer. Libby also captured a chilling recording, thought to be the man's voice.

Libby's family reacted to the update expected later Monday. Her sister Kelsi tweeted, "just know how grateful I am for all of you."

Just know how grateful I am for all of you. No comments for now, any questions please refer to the Carroll county prosecutors office. There is tentatively a press conference Monday at 10am. We will say more then. Today is the day%uD83D%uDC9C

Courts forbid cameras by default usually.
Yeah but there was discussion of allowing them, it got people's hopes up.

Prosecution is wanting to ban certain terms and the definition of those terms, because gawd forbid the jury know what they're dealing with.

"Odinism" is one of the words. Wonder if they'll allow Vinlanders Social Club.
They also want names of people listed in court documents and witnesses banned.

I fully expect an announcement that they've banned the trial altogether, Richard Allen stays in jail, and no one will be allowed to discuss anything about it, anywhere ever, soon.

I don't know how accurate or useful cell phone tower pings are, but the defense is saying that it looks like Libby's phone location might show that the girls had left the area where they were found.

There's been the idea that the girls were taken to another location to be killed, then returned to where they were found, floating around for six goddamn years but gawd forbid anyone look into that.

Trial moved to October

He's being held without bond, btw, because in Indiana they can do that. Seems a bit unAmerican but what do I know. (Also seems a bit different for how violent criminals are regularly released to reoffend in the state's capitol city, but that is a different problem altogether.)

In rural areas it can be hit or miss, it works best in high density areas where there are multiple sets of towers in range while you only technically need 3 connection points for a match the more spread out they are the more iffy it gets especially if there are atmospherics coming into play.

Where i live at the moment we don’t have a wired connection for the internet yet so I use a outdoor antenna for a 5 g router modem mounted ontop of the tallest building that gets perfect reception in low hanging clouds from a antenna 10 miles away the rest of the time it’s connected to a much closer tower slightly down the valley but if it gets foggy the connection is a bit shit so it goes to another tower over the other side of the valley about 7 miles away but on a clear day I can connect to all 3.

But the same kit in the old house could see 8 or 10 different to in any weather and the location it give was hyper accurate, this is with a enterprise grade omi directional kit as well not something with a smaller antenna in less than ideal conditions.

I’m in no way an expert at this sort of thing but have decent experience setting my current kit up and doing it on other sites I’m on from time to time.

Anyone having trouble sorting out where some of the clothing was found in relation to where the bodies were found should look at Tom Webster's video

Judge still isn't letting Richard Allen go -

I really wonder what evidence there is against Richard Allen, considering how hard the lawyers are working to get everything thrown out.

I still don't think only one person is involved, and it's interesting that there's a list of banned words and names, most of those names are the guys whose interviews got "accidentally" erased by the cops.

I feel like the lawyers are wanting to point the finger at a guy whose name starts with "Brad" and ends with "Holder." Look him up, he's... interesting.
