I might be in the minority here, but I think that forms of polyamory or at least "ethical non-monogamy" have existed a long time and probably work just fine. There are a LOT of swingers out there doing crazy shit these polyamory idiots can't even dream of, but they aren't deluded enough to one, advertise it to those not in the "scene" and two, pretend it's anything other than fucking for fucking's sake. Key parties existed in the 60s and 70s, after all; it's not just a pornsick thing.
