Had nothing better to do than sketch a tree in a cheap "illustration pen" I got from a set at Michaels (a size "0.1").

EDIT: I need to work on my hatching/crosshatching. It just ends up looking like scribbles on the page. The leaves were really just scribbles in several areas since I figured that worked effective enough.

It's pretty much amateur but I won't deny that I still need a lot of practice.

Bubsy the bobcat is making a comeback so I did a quick doodling of him since he's a favourite character of mine. :oops:

I tried my hand at some color grading in RawTherapee because I'm too much of a cheap ass to get Lightroom.

I ended up cropping the original photo twice; once to get rid of the unnecessary bits, and again because the highlights in the window next to the door were too clipped to be salvageable.

This is the most tumblr thing I've ever drawn, complete with unnecessary instagram filter/pastel goth shit.

It's from about a year ago, and I still haven't improved as much as I want to, but I mean, at least I'm trying and learning along the way, that's what matters.
