Predator 5 announced - Why can't they leave this fucking franchise just rest in peace?

The Warring States period in China could have worked but that mean retconning the Predators' first hunt on Earth. Other options for a China setting would be during the Boxer Rebellion, the 1911 Revolution, and the phases of the Chinese Civil War, which would include the interlude of Japanese occupation.
If you go Warring States then might as well go full ancient Chinese kung fu magic, which honestly will be the least dumb thing that happened to the franchise the last 2 decades.

Nigga what the fuck are you talking about, 89-90-91 were not a better time, it was a fucking recession, the first Iraq war and a bunch of bullshit going wrong. Murders were through the fuck roof, drug use, etc.. There's a reason why Predator 2 imagines that 7 years from now it's actual fucking chaos in the streets with full on gang warfare. Shit, Rodney King, Rooftop Koreans, crime fucking peaked in those years. There's a reason why that's when Grunge became popular.

Next time you wanna cosplay as a boomer, you fucking millenial, you should try to know about the years you're trying to LARP about.
You're a retarded nigger and I'm not reading your dumb nigger rants anymore. Get a life.
Kiss and make up, faggots.

I had a blast watching this movie, I don't know. I like the design of the new Predator more then most of the redesigns we've seen in the past. I thought some of the cinematography was pretty great, as far that goes in a movie like this. Overall, it did what it had to do for me, and that was more then good enough.

Was worried the movie was woke, my mom wants me to see the movie she thinks it's way better than she feared. I doubt it would be worse than 2018's literal autism.

Also Native Americans if not for obvious resource and technological differences (Aztecs and Mayans never really dabbled in metallurgy for some reason) were really not any different than Old World. You would have sophisticated societies in Mesoamerica or nearby rivers like Cahokia, while more rugged areas and planes would be the home of more warlike natives. The Comanche's brutality is similar to how Scythians would skin their captors alive and use them as jackets. Caledonians and Hibernians were notoriously rugged, warlike, and indomitable much like some native groups. More advanced and settled societies like the Aztecs were pretty tyrannical and bloodthirsty, but so were Assyrians and Canaanites. Their inability to realize the importance and versatility of metallurgy really stunted their technology (And by extension their societal development as a result) but really the Americas was millions of square kilometers of varied biomes and demographics. It is no different to how the Old World varied from Mongol, Scythian, Latin, Greek, Mesopotamian, Canaanite, or Berber and they varied in barbarity and civilization.
