Who gives a damn if a kid learns about evolution or not? Believing or disbeliving in evolution effects so few people it's not worth worrying about.
Evolution is relevant to everything that has to do with race. It's not the only source of truth, of course, but it's not irrelevant.
It's important for children not to entertain magical fictional bullshit on par with Santa Clause into their adulthood. They carry that level of ignorance with them and apply it to everything else.
This is wrong and retarded. All religious beliefs are "fictional", the only question is which give you better results. For a child who would be starting his first year of school in the US, which would produce a better outcome in life, a community where he will be taught creationism or the one which laughs at creationism?
You will notice that the places which profess a belief in evolution don't really act on the knowledge of evolution. The average believing creationist is more likely to act in line with the theory of evolution in his daily life, by being healthy, marrying early, and raising 3+ healthy children. Fuck, the undeniable danger of creationism is that it is a barrier to scientific progress, but I'm willing to bet that a US child who's six in 2023 and is taught creationism will end up better placed in life to
reject creationism and contribute to science than an evolutionist-educated child, who'll be set up to grow into a fat and retarded hog.
Creationism is stupid, but it's a lot easier for someone to deprogram themselves from it than gender ideology since it isn't being pushed EVERYWHERE. I mean I did, and it's why I don't buy into any of this nonsense or other ideological bullshit pushed by the science worship crowd like the covid scamdemic or Pfizer mRNA vaccines. It's why I believe that churches and religious schools are great institutions far better than public schools, since even if you don't believe the weird shit they often peddle, it's nothing but a mental vaccine against stupid beliefs from any side of the political spectrum.
Covid, troonism, BLM, Santa Claus, marriage, Communism, and the US presidential election are all religions. I don't mean it as an insult, like "stupid" or "irrational", I mean that's what they are: sociocultural practices that deal with the notions of the sacred and the profane. (Belief in a supernatural authority is not necessary; the notion of belief is modern.)
