Principles of the Kiwi Farms

Wish I'd registered earlier and avoided the mark of the faggot.
And yet....

This happens every few years with a topical cow, it's not new at all. The only problem is that nowadays there are far more normies in the site so it cloggs up threads faster and it's far more annoying to deal with the zerg rush of tards froth posting.

At this pace I wouldn't be that surprised if we make a thread on the kiwis who are always angery posting and make fun of them to see if they get the hint. Best case scenario: They do and tone it down. Worst case scenario: They get pissed even more and make the rest of us laugh at their dumbasses. Kind of a win win scenario in my opinion.
i was surprised to find the thread locked and while trying to find the reason, null was just being angry. it’s whatever i’m laughing reading the posts

I think there should be a way to limit very new posters from posting on certain threads when things get really bad because there's been times where new people come in and act extremely retarded and also dox themselves.
Replace the inverted pink triangle with the Star of David and most of our problems will be solved

Don’t 4chan users hate KF? I remembered I saw someone say that we’re a “degenerate shithole”
Obviously they don't like the foxdick farms, it's not even wholly unmerited considering Infinity Next, but the fact of the matter is most people don't want to join the darknet and this is the next best thing.

Is the influx of problem users due to increased media coverage of KiwiFarms, new lolcows with hatefans, or a generational difference? Exaggerated depictions of 4chan seemed to attract people who fit the depiction and it created a cycle. I wonder if KF is dealing with the same issue.
It's because everyone who joined after me is a queer.

I lurked this site for almost two years before I joined in 2019. Since then I think I have only made around 500 posts total. I religiously follow about 5-6 cows but only feel compelled to post something when I see a point that hasn’t been made or a joke that would work.

There is nothing wrong with just reading and being entertained. I always thought that was the point of this site. I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve written a post, read it then deleted it because I thought to myself I am not really adding anything with it. I wish more people had that kind of self-reflection.

There has definitely been a huge influx of new members (especially this year 2022) who clearly have no idea what the culture of this board is. I think some kind of moratorium on new members would really be beneficial. I don’t know what the rules would be but some kind of limit on posts per day or posts per thread until they have shown they aren’t going to shit the place up.

All I can say is to the new people, please don’t fuck this place up. This board is the last vestige of the old internet I knew before the stasi style censorship and clampdown on the free flow of information came down in the early 2010’s. Once this place (and the small handful of others mimicking it) is gone the entire internet will become just another corporate owned conglomerate media shithole like cable TV. And the only way you will be allowed to participate with it is if you reflect their lie of reality back to them. I mean for fuck sake just look at twitter or reddit.

What Josh has done with this site, just keeping it up and believing in the principle of it, is remarkable. He has been shoveling shit uphill against ridiculous odds just so the dream of what the internet was supposed to be is kept alive. Eventually if this shit keeps up he is going to decide it‘s not worth it. And who would blame him?

I noticed weird ire too in the Werner thread of people genuinely upset the government was paying for his medical bills while they had to work hard for a living. Like, yeah, but he's also still homeless, dying of self inflicted health problems, and never going to achieve his dreams due to his own horrible personality. That's hardly a win.

Spring 2020 is when I noticed people were getting way too ass blasted about political opinions. I think Covid broke something in this community, as weird as it sounds. It seems to have made people a lot more paranoid and angry, and assume the worst in anyone with a different opinion. Maybe the timing was just coincidental though, or compounded by the election. I have a lot of thoughts on how this website has evolved over the past 5 years but it's kind of hard to properly organize them.

TLDR; We are all human and people should be judged on a case by case basis, not as a whole.
