A diagnosis, if you care. Every time the site gets featured in the news or is trending on Twitter it attracts people who believe what the news and Twitter say about it and find it more appealing than what the site actually is.

When i was a newfag i thought the site was a offshoot from a imageboard because i saw a post about it in a imageboard, posted a reaction image and got it deleted + warn from mod and quickly noticed if i kept doing that shit i would have been hammered then stopped, course that required some intelligence from my part but the warning was clear as day though.

The person/people who have been attacking the site are pretty pathetic. They are terrified of a site where people speak freely. Null takes reasonable precautions to ensure threats aren't uttered and cooperates with authorities as legally required. But he protects free speech on this board.

They hate because they fear. They fear free speech and free ideas. They know their ideas cannot compete in the marketplace of ideas. So they attack the site. But KF keeps coming back.

There's a definite trend of people cheering swatting, deplatforming and censorship of other people simply because they don't like the people it's happening to or their politics. Those are often the same users who scream bloody murder about the same things happening to their ideological allies or the Farms themselves.

I agree with this. I myself am guilty for getting angry and making a complete fool of myself, and I learned my lesson. But I've noticed that lately, two years later, we're falling into the same pit again. Lately I've been feeling like if I state my beliefs in a calm and rational manner, provide solid arguments for my viewpoints and try to express my views in a civil manner (you know, like an adult would), I'm gonna get banned by a janny simply for holding views they don't like. I had another account on here that got banned simply because I made a joke (it was quite funny, some users thought it was funny too, but a janny didn't like it), and I hate to leave Kiwifarms because there's no other place as free as this forum, but I'm starting to think that maybe... maybe staying isn't such a good idea after all. I want to be rational and not get autistically mad like before, because I know that anger brings the absolute worst out of people. But if I was rational, would I be allowed to express my views? Or would I get banned for it simply because the mods don't like the way I think?

If my views make me a laughingstock, then laugh at me. Mock me and call me nigger a million times. That's fine. But why do I need to be silenced? I'm not derailing threads, I'm not a criminal, I'm not violating any rules or principles. Sigh... kiwifarms has been quite an emotional place lately and I don't know what to do. I'm just overwhelmed I guess. All my comments on YouTube gets removed and I've been IP banned on pretty much every social media site out there.
