I hate remembering every thread I have a passing interest in, especially threads that are constantly being updated or particularly slow. I hate being inconvenienced. Heck, I actually appreciate being told if my post is stupid.

If everyone started doing this, this means even more load on Null's server, because it's doing multiple round-trips plus all the background calls every single time you load a page, and that's with the optimistic hope that it's going to be just one. Where did I leave off? Uh, I dunno, better load a few more pages to figure out which identical "Agree" sticker was the last one that was applied to the post that I can't remember because I have a job and can't monitor several Kiwi Farms tabs from 9-5.

From an economical standpoint alone, this was a really, really dumb idea.

Well, you can still check that if you want. I just miss the convenience of getting an instant notification on activity for a thread. The "watch thread" option or navigating through to a separate page isn't convenient, and I honestly don't see the point of doing this. Technically nothing has changed aside from the score and added inconvenience.
