Sir, you are one of the most active users in quite literally every mass DM chain I’ve been invited too. And you had a front row seat to the catler drama. I would’ve assumed someone who arguably has more DM posts than forum posts would want to keep mass DM chains.

Also I’m going to miss how you’d randomly post entire movies

Curiosity kills the cats. Generosity kills slobbermutts. If you can't feed zoophiles to a woodchipper, feeding them to Discord sounds like proper thing to do. Don't beat yourself over it.
People who are uncomfortable having conversations about "normal stuff" on boards are almost certainly worrying about community responses and shit posts, not something you are in control of.

Similar to that: the sudden mass invites to the small Muscle Chick picture thread was pretty funny. OP was a good forum poster iirc but I can't remember his username though. He left the site after that, which is a bit sad because liking swole women is pretty weird but not revolting or illegal.

When I first joined the farm there was a DM chain I got invited to a couple times for "people who love rape".
I don't recall ever replying to it, outside perhaps a "what the living fuck is this", and the DM chain eventually got nuked I think , but it was weird being invited to that out of nowhere. So I guess its good this rule might curb that shit.

Re-reading the rules null placed in, I'm pretty damn sure you CAN message someone if its a direct "hey, can I talk to you specifically for a second" is entirely fine even if someone reports, so perhaps my worries about autists reporting DMs of that nature is unfounded.

Part of my concern was because I know this one chat program back in the day had an automated system where if you blocked someone, it would register on an invisible "block counter" and if it exceeded x blocks in y time period, the person would be automatically forbidden from sending a DMing anyone not added as a friend, which lasted months. This sounds nice on paper, but it effectively lead to cliques mass messaging / blocking an individuals reply to silence them on the whole website.

This is less likely to happen with manual moderation, but that automated system was so prone to abuse, it wasn't funny.

if you made a gooning board it would also solve the problem.
i have seen multiple people stroking their cocks in these dm chains and im afraid if you ban them they will goon themselves to death as there is nobody to tell them to stop it.
