Just because Chris' probation is over and all restrictions will be lifted doesn't mean that his sentence at Snorlax-Hime's Gomi Fortress has come to an end, mind you. He may no longer have any bans in the outside world, but he is still a prisoner of the hoard. Barb still has her own probation, so I don't see her releasing her little man-baby from her clutches anytime soon...

he can finally become the true and honest pokemon gym leader he always saw himself as :sonichu:

We can only hope that Chris continues to believe that his mother will actually do anything if he leaves the house. If Chris were a normal person, i.e. not an adult autistic CHILD, he would realize that since he is legally an adult that he may come and go as he pleases and Barb can't do shit about it. But since he's not a big boy, not mentally anyways, he will continue to kowtow to his mother's every threat and will remain a child trapped in his mother's disgusting house. It's good news for us, good news for Snyder and all of our brethren at the GAMe PLACe, and good news for all those single girls out there who would otherwise have to deal with Chris being a creepy lecher trying to get them to go out with him.

Wait a minute. Snyder can't ban Chris permanently? What the fuck? Why not? Over here in the land down under, if you get permabanned from somewhere, that's it, you're BANNED FOR LIFE. Some kids smashed a glass door in a shopping arcade a while back and the owner banned them. The ban was registered with police so the kids can be done for trespassing if they ever set foot in there again.

Even if that's the case, didn't Rob Bell drill it into OPL's head that he wasn't allowed to go back there ever?

Well this isn't the Land Down Under. This is AMERICA and a man has RIGHTS here.

I'm baffled as to why a number of you think that the end to Chris's probation equates to him "winning" something. His probation ending means that he's back to where he was before he got arrested at the GAmE PLaCe. Chris wants to go back to being the store's Pokemon trainer, a responsibility he wasn't capable of in the first place. I doubt any of his friends still go there, and he no longer passes for an awkward overgrown teen. Do kids even still play Pokemon cards? His relationship with Snyder and the staff if so incredibly strained now that if he were to return, Chris would be walking on eggshells constantly trying not to upset anyone (assuming he cares what anyone thinks).

I see nothing here that Chris has won. While it may be the case that Chris has no actual ban in place after his probation ends, the GAMe pLACE is still off limits to him because he's still an angry, unpleasant piece of shit. If Chris tries to posture, threaten, or even condescend Snyder, the two of them will be back in court in no time.

What about Snyder's rights?

C'mon, man, don't be that guy.

Forgive me for being a sanctimonious moralfag, but I'm less concerned with being "that guy" than I am with idly watching people bait a mentally handicapped man out of the hope that he could potentially do something illegal.

you're right. he doesn't need anyone's help getting in trouble with the law. it's one thing he can do by himself.

There's no trolling plans on this thread, so your White Knighting is uselessly ineffective.

As far as the State of Virginia is concerned once Christian's probation is up Snyder has to welcome him back as a customer.

Cue Chris running around the PLACe yelling about how he beat that DANG, DIRTY JEW, Snyder.

Like I said, as long as he never discovers that once his probation is over he is off the hook then we are safe. We can continue to meet at the GAMe PLACe and Michael can go without having to deal with Christian.

Exactly. If he bans Chris again, would he be charged for discriminating someone with autism? It's a shock to me that Snyder can't do anything about it legally when Chris visits his place. I'm starting to think state laws in Virginia akso seem to coddle autistics too much. Makes me wonder what kinds of lawmakers do they hire these days.

I don't see why this pisses you guys off so much. Yes, Chris will get to go back to The Game Place, just as he wanted to since he was banned all those years ago. But, just like when he finally got laid by a one hundred dollar hooker, he'll soon realize that he's still the same old Christian Weston Chandler - friendless, alone in the world, forced to stitch together holey butts until Barb dies. He's stuck in a Sissiphyian cycle of failure and sadness. Yes, Chris goes back to The Game Place. Then what? The same.

yup, he'll just get banned again

How would Chris be allowed back to the Game Place? I thought Snyder banned him forever? I hope Snyder does not allow him back into the store. He was bad for business.
