What Barb is doing isn't illegal. Chris is technically an adult and is choosing to share his money. He's still able to afford food and can usually pay his bills with the leftover money. He's free to get a job, move into an apartment and cut off contact with her, but he has no intention of doing that.

I think if you were to ask Barb about it, she'd probably say that Chris owes her rent money for living in her house or insist that the money does go towards useful things like feeding the hoard paying bills.

Yeah, patreon is definitely a better deal for Chris over kickstarter. It just doesn't ensure results like kickstarter does.

Like @AnOminous and @The American Hedgehog note, it's definitely legal.

But I would say that the situation is comparable to home schooled kids who are kind of brainwashed. It's a really shitty situation, but there isn't a good solution. Someone like Rocky would have to intervene to help Chris get more independent.

Ok, so here's a brief update on my OP. As a few of you may have read. I opened a Paypal Claim on Chris's Etsy store on the 8th of February.

Yesterday Chris said he was "Feeling Better" On the Post "Chris Demands Tribute Ahead Of Christian Love Day" and Also stated that he "Sent out Alot Of Books Yesterday"....

Well to my surprise, he was actually telling the truth. Here's the tracking info from Etsy (maybe, ill believe it when i see it).

By the rate of speed the Comics are coming, I MAY have the comics in my possession by the end of tomorrow. If that is the case, I'll be sure to post a picture of the Comics in their rightful home in my bathroom.

I will also post if i have received any compensation for my wait (according to a previous video by Chris, where he states "Your Patience will be GREATLY REWARDED")



I hope the reward is NOT a used up tube of Oestrogel. More to come in the coming days... Until then i am leaving my Etsy/Paypal case open until i am CERTAIN my order was properly fulfilled.

Others have posted both on this thread and in the Etsy reviews that they have received copies of a random signed photo along with their initial purchase. That would be an.... Unpleasant Surprise.

I may not be a True fan but I am an Honest Fan. I Wouldn't falsify a claim if i actually received the goods i paid for. Granted it took nearly a month to get it, so long as i get what i paid for, i will cancel the claim afterwards. My experience can be a road-map for other Farmers dealing with Chris in a business setting.

Did he respond to your request for the books to be autographed as "Christian"? What will you do if he just signed as "Christine" instead?

Ok, so after 2 days to the month.. I found this in the mailbox today.

Apparently he spends $3.94 to ship his books. He used Media Mail. But got screwed out of postage. Media mail goes for $2.38 up to 16 ounces. His 2 books with the envelope weigh EXACTLY 10.0 ounces. He shipped this item for $3.94 which is considered media mail up to 5 pounds. A minor loss of profit, but still a loss.

Here's the Final product in the package...

Note that he did indeed sign the book with "Christian W. Chandler" as per my request. BUT! He DID NOT sign the second book at all!! (there was no extra charge for the signature request BTW)

Oh yea, and as for "My Patience will be greatly rewarded"??? All i got was 3 loose strands of cat hair in the Comic Book bag....

Am I at all surprised? No. Am I satisfied? No. I knew what i was expecting. BUT, what I DIDN'T EXPECT.... (Look closer at the Spine of the comic in the picture above) I was sent the Lulu books..... Didn't Chris run out of the Lulu books toward the end of last year??? Didn't he say that he sent out the remaining books he had from lulu before he took down the Etsy listing. THEN offered "Coupon codes in Lieu of refunds"? How in the hell did i get Lulu books if he supposedly sent out the remaining stock of them last year?

This Transaction is considered Complete in my eyes, i will cancel the Paypal claim. I Actually wanted the Lulu books because the print quality of Ka-Blam's books is more like a comic book spine and the borders are cut off. Yea, he didn't sign the other issue BUT he did open up a great conversation starter. Is it possible that hes still using Lulu? and faked everyone out by saying he's using Ka-blam? Or Did he have a surplus of Lulu Books and used the excuse of Lulu cutting him off as an excuse to not send out anything and take everyone's money in November of last year until now? (I think it's the latter). Does anybody here have any PROOF of an actual book from Ka-blam? Discuss.

Sorry, I was away for several months so I don't know for certain, but is there still a thread for showing photos of received stuff from Chris?
