Without going into PL territory I follow a couple people deep in the Hannibal fandom rabbit hole. They’re just choosing to ignore it/not acknowledge the accusations or Fuller altogether (whereas before, they’d tag him in some stuff in very attention seeking ways) which I’m not sure is a good or bad choice.

If anything, I’ve been seeing some people focusing more on the “Hannibal Extended Universe”/HEU, which is Hannigram shippers, well, shipping Mads and Hugh’s characters from totally unrelated movies and television shows together, no matter how much it doesn’t make sense. ie Hugh’s character from Law and Order with Mads’ character from Casino Royale, that kinda shit. It’s removed from Fuller so I guess they see it as a guilt free way of shipping Hannigram but not actually Hannigram.

Best way I can describe it, it’s like those Disney and/or Non-Disney crossover AMVs (ie “Take Me to Church” with Alice and the very much an adult army guy from The Iron Giant) but far, far more unrestrained in its degeneracy.
