If you don't mind I would like some evidence on the latter claim. I believe you to be clear, just want to know why you know that.
Look familiar? From Every Ghost Show and also in the four hour bee review video. My friend walks her dog there and recognized it from his videos.

I'm sorry for further packing this updates but Qoomrade further proves that he is totally not aware of the Kiwi Nations.

I would argue Quinton is a bigger player in the fandoms of Robotech and The Rutles than Garfield, because he has a tangible interest in both of those properties that spans years back and he currently is admin of both Wikias. He even started The Rutles Wiki and got very active this week making articles. Problem being that those are the nichest of niches. In comparison Garfield is an open field and he has claim for his historical findings even though a good chunk of Garfield fans don't want him to be the face of the fandom. If you don't believe search in Twitter "Quinton Reviews Garfield" and you will find many tweets from people that say just that.

Now for something else, is commonly agreed that Quinton or someone within the Inner Quew and Quintelligentsia reads this thread at least every so often. Just a few posts ago some kiwis baited Q by accident. (A)

I think this has to be the first time Quinton does comment on something from this thread so bluntly and doesn't erase it a minute after the fact so kudos to you Qoomrade. May the orange puss and its crappy merchadise be with you forever.
"Garfield is a symbol of the revolution"
Very cute Quinton. The fucking idea of putting anything political next to Garfield is because his shit eating face has been next to half baked educational slogans for years, so anytime you see "Garfield says: Black Lives Matter" or "Garfield says: Kill all Jews" it's just because his bizarre brand has been so over-saturated that putting anything against the norm next to it is slightly comedic. You can replace Garfield with nearly any common mascot and it has the same effect.

Watch I'll do it right now

That's actually funnier than about 99% of the variations of this meme I've seen. At least the Garfield panel actually matches, and it's not just a random picture of Garfield because "LOL Garfield reference."

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that talking about politics (while not initially being a political channel) is the easiest way to repel audiences. The whole "quirky" comedy schtick probably doesn't help either.
I'm surprised it didn't decline dramatically, I hung in there for a while after his political shift because I was able to ignore it for the most part but even the quality of his videos and ability to at least attempt to be reasonable flew out the window too. Like his Fallen Titans video on creepypastas was fucking terrible and missed the point of the fucking series which was meant to inform first and give smug opinions second. Nigga just says creepypastas are shit and laughs at them while doing dramatic readings for the entire run, not talking about a rise and fall or anything.

Then he attempted revising history in his Filthy Frank video so he could justify finding him funny in the past despite being woke now. I know Frank tried doing that himself with the whole "I'm actually making fun of the people who like my videos" shit he tried to pull halfway through his career on youtube despite still being an edgy faggot on facebook and twitter but old Quinton would have seen right through the bullshit by actually doing research or like, just remembering since he was probably there through all of it. I watch plenty of people I don't agree with politically but Quinton's change in politics legit made everything about his videos worse and due to all that weight gain, I'm guessing it made everything about his life worse too.

Welcome back mates to the latest installment of Stories from the Quew. This time we see Qoomrade Qlinton confronting and slaying his own demons in front of his legionares. In case you have not noticed the pattern, Dear Leader often only talks to disclose his emotions in public to be validated and then lowkey brag about what he is doing/going to do.

This update shows that LS Mark has choosen to surrender to the Quew for reasons beyond my knowledge. Do not forget to come out and fight like a man ye black and tan.

Since I fucked up before I will do better this time. Here comes Good Media Criticism: Kiwi Edition™ 4, this time with 5 channels because I posted two times without recommendations.

1) Georg Rockwall-Schmidt (253k): I like to refer to Georg as the anti-thesis of Jack Saint. Both are Yorkshire born writers living in the US Midwest for some reason that do video essays. Difference being that Georg does watch movies for people older than 15 in under 15 minutes and does not do hard political reads on them but unlike him he doesn't upload as often. Some of you might recognize him because he was a guest once in the Morning Kumite. Kino watches: Al Pacino in Jack and Jill, Stars Wars: The Franchise That Choked and When Did Political Correctness Go Mad?. Really all of his stuff is kino, he even makes 12 reviews/recommendations each Christmas.
2) Oki's Weird Stories (151k): Some of you might know Oki for the copystrike attacks he suffered from half asian comedian Dan Nainan but if you don't know him yet as the namesake of his channel implies he covers weird stories and he has an even weirder track record of getting involved himself in the crossfire with his latest upload likely becoming the newest addition. Oki investigates what he covers in depth and has conducted and been interviewed for some notable figures including The Rob and Joe Show, John McAfee and the last man in Vice's payroll Jake Hanrahan. Kino watches: The Rise and Fall of Dan Nainan, How an American "Ninja" Tricked Hollywood and Gay Frogs: A Deep Dive. His miniseries on John McAfee and Therry Tilly are also certified kino.
3) Atrocity Guide (215k): One of the most underrated members of the Internet mysteries community in my humble opinion, this gal makes the kind of content Q wishes he could do. Atrocity Guide makes documentary tier content on exactly the sort of stuff that is niche yet appealing enough to interest outsiders with the only aspect tying everything together being that it happened online. She has a deadpan narration close to Down The Rabbit Hole and shares an uncomprised philosophy to get the facts how they are. Kino watches: The Fall of Phoenix Jones, The Story of Ulillillia (specially if you want to watch before the documentary on him) and Decoding "The Secret: A Treasure Hunt". As it has been the case so far, everything from this woman is kino.
4) Qxir (348k): Qxir covers all sorts of stories both online and offline with three flagship series: Tales From The Bottle, Last Moments and Deadly Survival Skills, all guaranteed to be a good bingewatch in case you consider the prior recommends too long. All videos are illustrated in a simplistic style reminisent of Sam O'Nella, ergo simple presentation and a lot of information you didn't actively though you could receive. Kino watches: WWII Nazi Becomes Beloved Star, Old Man Stands up to Cartel (mexican boomer too angry to die) and Ireland's Hilarious Kung Fu Movie (I recommend this one before watching his video on Jadotville). All in all, good design and branding advice for Q.
5) Beige Frecuency (78.4k): Beige is not a new name for anyone who browses this thread but for those of you who don't know him, he is a youtuber who makes docuseries mainly on comedians and MMA lore. The zoomers on this thread might know him for his video on Quinton, but the OGs know him for royally pissing off Anthony Cumia and Brendan Schaub to the point he almost lost his channel. He has been shilled on the Farms more than once but it clearly could go further. Kino watches: Anthony Cumia's Demented Wolrd (almost five hours of a man losing his sanity), I'm Not Surprised and Falling Down (his longest piece that wasn't a multiparter). His series in MMA lore is absolute kino.

Why do you think it appeals to Quinton so much?
It's SJW quirky pseudo-cringe culture.

They're fascinated by lolcows/cringe/kitsch the same way we are (look at how many Tumblr gender specials try to interact with Chris Chan), but they can't be honest and mock them like we do because they see it as "punching down".

Their solution is to ironically love and embrace it because they think it's quirky and quirky ironic humor is in. Eventually this spirals into "lol, what if we unironically become their biggest fans and supporters?! That would be so funny!" Plus, if you pretend to like something for long enough, it'll grow on you. That's how Quinton winds up ordering a $1000 Garfield plush. I think there might still be some irony in there, it's just nearly indistinguishable from legit fandom at this point.

TL;DR: They love it ironically as a joke because their SJW code won't let them be mean to them. Eventually this irony spirals into unironic love.

"Garfield is the revolution!"
Garfield is what future facebook wine aunts used before minions existed.

God, I love this type of "revolutionist", yes spending hundreds and thousands of dollars on a coporate image is totally you fighting for the revolution. Lining, the copyright owners pocket with money is totally going to show them that you don't want to work a 12 hour work week. They genuinley think the revolution will be sponsored by Disney, then again if it's televised it will have to be.

It's SJW quirky pseudo-cringe culture.

I don't think they ever liked it Ironically I just think they can only admit to liking something so civilian/standard/normie owned by the big bad megacorps is to feign that it's ironic till their circle accepts it as their quirk. Quintons definitely the doey fat brain trust that would love Garfield but since it represents everything he hates, being written by a old rich white man, he had to cover his base. Not to mention the work of Lasanga Cat, Garfield without garfield, and gorefield made liking the charachter unironically a social fopah. There's also the consumer aspect of Quinton where he can always find more Garfield merch to buy to fill that gaping whole in him and he can treat is as a search for something. Look at his love for bumblebee, it's part of a soulless cash grab franchise but because no one attacks him with his transformer love we don't see the "it's a symbol of the resistance b.s."
