You'd be surprised to hear that despite being based on a movie for kids, Disney actually recommends the Broadway Frozen show for people ages 8 and up, so it makes sense that she's complaining about families who want to take their kids to see it, since most kids who like the Frozen franchise are under eight. The same thing can be said about the Broadway adaptation of the non-Disney film Anastasia, which actually removed most of the things that made it appeal to kids in the first place, most notably changing the villain to a more realistic character.

One of the things that always struck me about them was how misogynistic they were. If a woman got pregnant and decided to keep it, she was an evil whore who poked holes in the poor defenseless man's condoms (the term they liked to use was 'oopsing'). I remember them responding to a story about a guy who killed his pregnant girlfriend with 'it's so sad that he was driven to this'. No pity for the woman, the poor man obviously didn't want a kid and it's the woman's fault for not aborting! The man was always the innocent party, no matter what the situation. And the majority making these kinds of statements were women.

I remember a story about a pregnant waitress getting a $100 tip and them implying she was a whore because basically she got money for having spread her legs. I remember a CF person being mad at there being kids at fucking DISNEYLAND. There was tons of stuff like that. Some of these people are completely vile.

Do you remember cf_hardcore, the community that sprung up because they deemed the regular childfree community too nice to children? My favorite highlights from cf_hardcore were:

1. A grown-ass woman whining about the fact that a child won a Harry Potter costume contest that was clearly intended for children despite her :autism: ass deciding to enter it anyways. Good news, folks, I have the archive link for this one!
2. Another grown-ass woman throwing an absolute tantrum over the fact that her local movie theater chain was giving out free WALL-E pens to all attendees of WALL-E...who had a child ticket. Theater employee refused to give her a cheap plastic pen with the WALL-E logo on it just because she was an adult. Discrimination!
And the number one most despicable thing I've seen....
3. When they reacted to the Colorado theater shooting with outrage......that some parents had brought their children to the theater. This one's actually on regular childfree.

Okay, so, the neighbor's kid is 9, but she was playing with some other kid outdoors, at whom the OP screamed bloody murder. The 9-year-old child had to step in and protect the other kid from the angry adult--to the point where the adult turned on her because "if you want to act like an adult, I'm about to treat you like one, you little asshole". Thank God she doesn't have children of her own.

Also, her dog wants to play with the girl. Bitch be jealous.

I always think back to a post on an LJ arguing that it's dumb to congratulate an expecting mother and father on a pregnancy. And something mocking congratulating the father along the lines of 'oh lol you blew your load in your wife what an accomplishment.'
