Not gonna lie here, I don't think any other group of cows has bothered me this much. At least not attitude wise.

It's just the sheer amount of smugness and hatefulness they exude. Along with the fact that it's directed towards children. Look, I get not liking kids, and not wanting to have any. I myself don't wanna have kids. What I don't get is going from not liking kids and not wanting any to fucking watching one almost drown and doing nothing. To getting pissed at a cashier for saying "Happy Mother's Day". To calling kids "crotch fruit", and "crotch biscuit" and "crotch drippings" and their mothers "mombies". To mocking parents for celebrating their pregnancy. What the fuck?

I just don't get it. Where did this hatred come from? What could a child possibly do to you to make you hate them this much? And like @MarvinTheParanoidAndroid said, do they even remember they themselves were kids at one point too? What happened to these people to make them like this?

A lot of older kids and younger teens will go through a period where they dislike or even hate younger children. Young kids get tons of attention that the older ones may resent having to compete with. Older kids are also often being weaned into more (unwanted) responsibilities and expected to give up some of the childhood things they enjoy and may feel jealous of the younger ones for not having to deal with that. Normal people grow out of this, don't resent children for having it too easy, and learn that co-existing with other people's children is part of being in a society even if those children are annoying sometimes.

Emotionally stunted adults who still can't stand being expected to work and do other adult things and wish they could just sit around reading Harry Potter and watching cartoons all day without being judged continue to resent children.

Separated parents, physical or/and sexual abuse during infancy. I don't know. it screams "bad upbringing" to me.

What a fucking asshole. She's been your friend since kindergarten, and when she wants your love and support you drop her like a hot potato? I understand not wanting to be with someone who will drag you down, but this is stone cold.

I also like how she admits she's being "kind of selfish" when her first response to her best friend getting pregnant was "how is it my problem?" and outright admits she's dumping her friend because she won't be able to do fun things with OP anymore. It's more like "massively selfish and unsympathetic."

These people are emotional children. Seriously, this is how little children (or aspies) react to someone revealing a major life change to them:
"I'm getting married!"
"Okay."

"My mom just died!"
"...What does that have to do with me?"

"I just got my HIV results back... I'm positive."
"Guess that means you'll miss the movie. I'll just buy a medium popcorn, then."

This total detachment from another person's emotional state shows they have a major screw loose: hell, even autists can learn the social cues of others enough to know "Hey, this is a big emotional moment for them, I should try to be supportive."

Honestly i hate to poke holes in this obviously air tight story but how did the kids get in? Did they just not lock the door or does the brother have a key. Also how did his brother know his job was closed? Does he just sit out and monitor job closing. If they worked together wouldn't the brother ask "hey mind if i drop the kids off with you?" Also no sane person just dumps kids off with out announcing it. Unless the guy lives in a famialy of people who are all socially inept then this story all falls into place.
