Lol Extremis Ultimis is going to be a dumpster fire (assuming it ever gets released)
  • It’s a “le wacky schitzo meme mod”, which means that it already has a limited lifespan and is going to be edgy for the sake of being edgy.
  • The (former) lead dev is a retarded communist who based most things in the mod on ‘lol i think it funni schitzo idea who care about internal consistency’. The devs that replaced him are trannies and commies.
  • They use the gay made up characters out of a mixture of laziness and being afraid of being sued (which is retarded, because a game mod making fun of a public figure would most almost certainly fall under fair use)
  • The mod’s worldbuilding is fucking retarded. The given point of divergence is literally “George Orwell never completed 1984, and people read the rough draft as an endorsement of totalitarianism”. It’s more focused on being edgy and grimdark than making sense.
I eagerly look forwards to it crashing and burning.

According to the TvTropes, apparently they're doing a huge sabotage of the German economy and caused the financial crash and only Herman Goring knows but when he tries to invade them he gets destroyed because their entire economy has gone to building bunkers for 30 years to repeal a German invasion.

The one time I played TNO I just let the Swiss nibbas swarm into southern Germany and then killed them in a week, they have like 10 focuses for a prolonged Swiss-German war too because these idiots don't understand game design

I know this is an old comment, but the drama in EaW is very contained. I used to be active in it because I was friends with devs and I can say there has been drama, but it's always contained and dealt with under the table. EaW has wackos and weird people, alot of degenerates and horsefuckers, but the actual team is fine for the most part... just very autistic.
