Westernized China is so broken in Victoria 2 it's scary. They have too much pop to support everything which ramps up the immigration out of the country factor, but they are also economically powerful enough it doesn't really matter.

As i'm writing this, the owner accidentally pinged the entire server and there's a shit fight over stuff.
Don't wanna be that guy, but i do think a lot of these speds are likely gonna wind up fucking over the mod in some way or another, which is a shame.

As for TNO: PR. Truthfully i had a feeling they wouldn't last, Owner didn't give a true fuck about LGBT stuff and as a result, that got him labeled as all sorts of autistic shit. on top of some somewhat controversial statements he made in regards to the Russian Liberation Army/ROA

If a good chunk of the TNO Community's perception is that somebody who doesn't hold Fags on a high standard compared to literally anybody else is immediately a fascist, then yeah mod teams like TNO: PR aren't gonna last with that target audience, it's simply not going to work in the long run, you'll be ostracized from pretty much any other TNO Submod (Which a Source from the dev team has told me, is what occured, with other submods jumping on the "Fascist" bandwagon) On top of those retards then having ties with Modding servers etc.., which creates a Chinese Whispers effect.

I don't have anything to really add but OWB does have some VN shit but it is adding incredibely well to the mod. Most newer content has story events but the way they are integrated is to drive the plot of a specific nation/leader, not take over gamepla. A good example are the Swrods of Hayman, a splinter of the Montana Chapter of the brotherhood.

At the start are you a vengeful Paladin and her associates strictly following the Code, by the end you've purified most of the Midwest while under indirect leadership of a rogue AI inspired by the Norse Gods, at least as far as I am into the run yet.

Point is, TNO could have worked as a VN if they balanced that aspect with actual gameplay that is fun, instead of just waiting for a focus to finish to read another wall of text.

Nor is it even still set in the world of Kaiserreich anymore at all, though they are keeping a 2ACW (three sides like base KR and unlike KX: Midwestern revolutionaries vs. liberal Congressional PSA expy vs. conservative Southern presidential loyalists backing a Kingfish expy) + German Empire for the background.

OWB us probably the only mod I'm okay with having an emphasis on story and 'visual novel' elements because it's based in the world of Fallout. Literally all Fallout games (well, the good ones that is) have a good amount of sitting through dialogue scenes and exploring your local environment to soak in the world.

I'd take any claims that they discovered anything about anyone with not just a pinch of salt but a full bag of it. The earlier screenshots prove that these are just literal children that are fighting among themselves so we're just looking at Discord psy ops at this point. Shame too, the premise of the mod sounded like a fun idea, but I don't think this kind of death spiral is something they can get out of. Hopefully someone else runs with the concept later and takes your sage advice to heart when making it.
