HoI4 mapmodding is more retarded than EU4 or Vic2 because of how many extra layers there are and the fact none of them are easily organized within the files, nevermind that the ingame tools don't actually work.

Meh, it's usually good for low development countries to keep retention with less well off equipment. Prob didn't have the MIOs DLC enabled as well so no upgrades for older guns.

in contact with a dev who's a good friend of mine, says that quite a few of the devs are both confused and annoyed by how many Turks keep flooding into the server, they say it wouldn't be an issue if most of them didn't immediately shift 99% of discussions into talking about Turkey.

I've been told they are planning on adding Content for Turkey along with a few other nations, But they've gotten a few of the Turks on board with the catch being that they actually need to help with other shit aside from just doing Turkish stuff.

Gentlemen, after much work of rubbing two braincells together I've figured out how to use the nudger tool and can now competently mapmode HOI4 (using existing provinces). Now you can get:
1. OTL Soviet Borders (Kuril Islands included)

2. OTL Yugoslav Borders (Macedonia couldn't be saved due to the provinces unfortunately)

3. OTL French borders (Savoy no longer has two provinces belonging to Piedmont and the Somme doesn't have a province sticking out towards Calais for no reason)

And finally OTL Eastern & Central European Borders

All of the new provinces have new cultures, and the only thing left is to add the scripted localisation keys so the names of the provinces change depending on what tag owns them. Keep in mind this is only in the pre-Operation Deep Freeze TNO version, i.e the one already compatible with 2WRW.

I never really got this because Brazil does very little outside of its borders since the beggining. Sure we had wars with neighboords 150 years ago and took part on ww2, but nothing that really makes any interesting. Not to say it shouldnt have content, but its something to only do after you finish the actual important countries.

Are you talking about victory points or states? I believe Paradox added a way to automatically rename one or both of those depending on the owner, probably the VP's. For states, look for examples ingame, in TNO maybe Hawaii might have that stuff going on, Burgundian lands perhaps.

I checked the TNO subreddit out of curiosity today and it's astonishing how little the memes have changed. There's been so little content added that they're still making jokes about the South Africa war. The same jokes they were making 4 years ago.

At least the KR subreddit can make memes about green national populism and the Germany rewoork. Even if it is now infested with gooner garbage.

To be completely fair, that in not necessary a TNO problem but just a byproduct of reddit culture just being a cesspool of the same bland corporate safe completely unfunny memes repeated add nauseum till the end of time. Man do I hate that website and all the users of it.
