Plagued /r/TNOmod and the Reddit HOI4 modding community - When a subreddit for a video game mod turns to utter insanity

What do you think would happen to major lolcows like Chris Chan, Boogie2988, Wings of Redemption, Mini Ladd, Keemstar, DSP, Amberlynn Reid etc in TFR's 2nd American civil war?
The second American civil war starts around the time of the beginning of Chris' prison arc and I can't see fatties like Boogie and Wings surviving the war. Maybe Keemstar would change his show into being an amateur war correspondent.

Aside from being niche e-celebs, they have no clout and none are particularly combat worthy so they'd probably just stay home and ride out the storm.

Maybe psycho Biden would kidnap Chris and make him Secretary of Women.
AtomWaffen Satanists would probably use Chris as part of some unholy ritual.

I wonder what a post civil war Youtube would look like and how these lolcows would change/cope if they somehow survived.

So I'm faced with a dilemma here, either I could search for the TNO superevent code on end (For find a program that opens files inside a folder and searches for a certain phrase within each file, if something like that exists),
Sorry for being late by 2 weeks here, but Notepad++ would have been exactly what you were looking for, since one of the search features can scan an entire directory for all instances of a string or phrase. I use the feature pretty regularly in updating mods and game files, particularly in maintaining a fork/redux for an otherwise abandoned Stellaris mod with a friend of mine.

Just know you'll need patience depending on how large the directory is and the file types in them; I'm not joking that it searches for ALL instances. It'll chug for a few minutes in its search if you ask it to start looking through a folder with a lot of mid-size images or non-cleartext file formats, but it WILL find your request, even if it then hightlights the specific discovered result (from, say, a DLL) as incomprehensible symbols because it pulled it directly from the binary. That said, you should be able to scan a normal mod directory within 1-2 minutes.

"Three days to Denver bro! Trump's forces will melt within contact of the Feds!"

Thanks for the help, but I've got it already solved. Messing with the superevent code would've probably reduced compatbility anyways. Right now I'm focused on trying to figure out how to add the scripted localisation for states and victory points using the same system TNO uses,

I think for the most part, a lot of these Youtubers would either struggle to upload or make content (Especially true if their city of living becomes a frontline)
Thats also not taking into consideration the possibility of a lot of them being conscripted or even volunteering. You would likely see an actual drain in terms of content on there because Most would be packing up and hauling ass out of America OR being put into the previous situation i mentioned.

You would absolutely have guys similar to Youtubers like "CivDiv" uploading combat footage etc.. and showing how the fighting is on the ground. Not to mention the most fucked thing being that if a E-Celebrity does serve and is KIA'ed then you would not only hear about it, but possibly see it as well. People are happy to record anything these days.
Essentially, the Platform would probably wind up being drained of content for a while or flooded with Combat footage, becoming a new Liveleak.

Thats also assuming a lot of youtube's servers won't end up destroyed/stolen/deprived of power

this is assuming the APLA/Aryan Nation/California State Militia/Bloods & Crips don't destroy all the YouTube and social media site servers in Jewfornia

"WOOOO! HEY GUYS, this is Baked Alaska here, we're about to go commit some war crimes! WOOOO! LET'S GOOOO!!!" *We Love Our Cops starts playing over the sounds of gunfire*

It’s honestly kind of an interesting idea to bat around. During WW2 you had a fair amount of British and American celebrities who dropped their careers to sign up. Now a lot of them were kept in the rear lines to make sure they didn’t get killed or captured, but they still did their part.
Looking at the current crop of celebrities I can’t envision many of dropping their lifestyles and reaching for a rifle, apart maybe from some of the guntubers.
Canonically Herrera is part of the Trump cabinet. Maybe Harrell would rise from the grave and start hunting some real life meat targets in the APLA heartland, Hickock would be ringing noggin gongs in the Appalachias and Yankee Marshall would be getting a bayonet spit roast in whatever CHAZ wannabe area he heads to.

I know ADX Florence is well within Trump territory but maybe in a early-game ACG collapse Ted Kaczynski, El Chapo and all the other criminals in the infamous Supermax (which also included the man behind the attempted Bojinka Plot) form a coalition and can reunite the USA.
Fuck it why not, Anti-Technology Islamic Jihad Drug Cartel path when? At the very least it would be a more sensible way of utilizing Uncle Ted rather than how he was portrayed in Make America Again where he just springs out of nowhere in Nevada. Plus I like the idea of a warlord state made up of a bunch of escaped convicts who all have their own extremist ideologies or 'expertise'. It also helps all three were alive and present in ADX Florence during 2020 so well within the timeline divergence.

If you go down the list of inmates present by 2020 in Wikipedia there's even plenty of inmates who can act as generals and ministers, lol.
