There's also the bizarre thing of Schörner couping Goring and starting another civil war if you do War Plan B (which both him and Remer suport), but don't do War Plan C (which only Remer is mad enough to try) until the Oil Crisis hit. Why? Is Schörner mad that Goring didn't basically commited suicide by doing something he won't support himself? It would make more sense for Remer to do, since he's by far the craziest non Burgundy nazi. Indeed, if during the SS Civil War, you tell Remer about HImmler's plans, he get more loyal to Himmler.

In theory after the Oil Crisis hits you should be able to purge the militarists and install either Speidel, Müller or your nephew as head of the Wehrmacht. However the “Militarist” loyalty system is buggy as hell and civil war still breaks out even if you have high militarist loyalty with super low militarist power and influence.

well, good thing you can play SBA and basically make people work 18 hours per day with 90% disatisfaction and they won't revolt lol

I think someone tryed to justify this with "in the SBA there's no higher authority for the workers to revolt against", which ignores that the workers can just go in a strike and not work, after all, the only way for the SBA to force people to work would be if they send the army for it and that isn't chungus 100. But hey, the game basically works as if every worker have the exactly same opnion, like a literal hive mind.

Reading the descriptions, looks like the most likely reunifier would be Novosibirsk, who got the highest population of russia (since both Moscow and Leningrad are under german control), got the best economy, got air power and general recources and relations.

Personal experience is that over the years Kaiserreich has gotten less and less fun. They've been removing more and more player agency to further the narrative. A few years back you for example as Imperial Germany intervene in the Indochina war to ensure that your colony would survive, now they've removed the option and the Indochina war is impossible for the German colony to win as an AI because of the imbalance in troops and resources given. They've also removed some fun paths in the name of realism.

Kaiserredux is a mod that at least tries to undo some of the more boring changes.

Having only just recently started a few games in KRedux there are things I like and things I don't like, but the more wackier paths seem to be locked behind certain events happening a certain way thankfully. They even readded deescalating the ACW instead of it being forced every time and an actual US tree that has paths depending on party.

Mainline KR seems to be going way too in the realism direction they missed the original point of the game and Redux is a breath of fresh air for me.

Honestly Vanilla HOI4 could be a lolcow in of itself with the teams inability to add stuff that matters to WW2, instead doing retarded shit like meme Central Powers or reforming the HRE through pure RNG and ignoring actual laws of succession the German monarchies went on because people like Princess Victoria Louise for some reason.

Has anyone brought up how unimaginative with the Reichkommisariats TNO is? Pretty much every RK is lead by the same guy as in WW2 which is just unbelievable that a state like the Reich would allow these people to maintain power for decades now despite Hitler being portrayed as semi-paranoid and increasingly senile post-SS failed coup. How the hell has Hans Frank managed to keep doing fuck all to crush Poland been kept secret since 1939, no one has ratted on him hoping to benefit from it?

Also the Crisis system is so blatantly a case of trying to be Vicky 2 from back when Panzer was developing it for Vicky 2 until he sperged about not being able to make Atlantropa cause changing Vicky's map is hard or something. The problem is any given crisis only involves two of the three nuclear powers at a time and there is no notification a crisis is occurring. Some crisis I encountered while playing are the Shrimp Boat, Jet plane in North Sea, and nuclear missile in the North Sea. The issue is while in Vicky 2 the AI knows when to deescalate and judges whether a crisis is worth a war (Hell I had a game where the Ottoman AI surrendered land every crisis), TNO AI just keeps escalating to war and before you know it your game is fucked over because while you are playing Britain or Omsk or some shit the US, Japan, or Germany decided to go to war over some petty shit that ends up in game over cause nuclear war.
