Reeading about Gus Hall's new WHOLESOMERINO paths in this thread has made me realize something about America in TNO that doesn't make any sense. That's how none of the extremist candidates can start a civil war because it's "overdone" and "cliche". By 1972 if you get enough extremist support the country is already on fire with an epidemic of violence. But I guess 10 years of everything going to shit and a Nazi or Commie coming to power ain't enough for conflict to break out huh devs(not to mention Speer and Bormann having focuses to fund Yockey and Burgundy funding the Klan)? Guess they were too busy grooming and molesting children to think this shit through.

This reminded me of a Buddhist illustrator who does historical art. One had the guy's oc praying in front of a buddha with a bhudist swastika above. People got apeshit despite having the context. One said "A swastika of this size can only be seen as provocative. I don't think you are an advocate of Nazism and other frms of Fascism. This has nothing to do with ancient history or religion, in this form it is purely and simply a symbol of Nazism. Therefore I will report this poste."
Because you know, isn't like that people in buddhist festivals don't make meter long swastikas with candles.
