One thing i find funny with the mod is that the mods stopped turning random Heroes of the Soviet Union into warlords after the family of one, Alexander Medvedev, found out they turned him into a nazi. So they retconned him into a more fitting anti nazi who can purify the AB.
However, the mods are ok with turning Yazov into a genocidal maniac, turning both Nikolai Averin (leader of Gorky) and Abu "Khan" into merciless raiders despite the 2 last two being just normal soldiers. Fuck, even Lysenko, who was a absolute retard who may have indirectly fucked with soviet grain production being willing to do human experimentation despite never crossing the line doesn't make sense.
There's also Gumilyov who, as a guy on reddit said "I read his books and the way he acts in game make no sense"
So turning people into nazis isn't ok, but turning into raiders, genocidals and human experimentists is ok?

The guy wasn't even interested in politics. He was an apolitical writer who considered his work to be scientific. But in TNO he is an insane killpeopleist who turns Russia into a Eurasian superstate.

Since this is alt history I don't mind real life characters being tweaked but it needs to make some sense.

I think they did a Russian mathmetician the dirty too. Think he was in either Tomsk or Komi and is turned into some super elitist cunt who is a racist gamer or something. This is all based on some letters or books he wrote about race or something probably.

What is it with HoI4 modders and thinking someone being vaguely anti-Semitic makes them a Nazi? I guess everyone pre-Holocaust was literally Hitler then since anti-Semitic beliefs were fairly common.
