I once wrote a veteran on veteran's day in grade school. He wrote back about how much he loved slaughtering gooks in vietnam complete with pictures of vc heads on pikes

incredible and the only kind of veteran I respect.

i remember reading on some ex/current us military forum a while back some post from a soldier that was in iraq, who talked about how his favorite moment was firing an RPG into a school he was sure was occupied (and not by soldiers) and how he wished he had gotten to see more active combat.
