It's gonna be a hard sell plus the fact that online for PSN is no longer free like it was in PS3 days.Sony and Polyphony Digital release a State of Play video earlier this week, to further showcase Gran Turismo 7:
In-game screenshots also hint of the possibility of engine swapping being a thing in the game too.
The game itself looks gorgeous, but given how you still need to sell a Kidney to get a PS5, would it be worth it still, just to be able to play GT7?
Interesting if true. My experiences with newer arcade-type racers have mostly not been very positive. I'd expect racers of all things to be a straight upgrade of older games but somehow it doesn't always work that way.Hotshot Racing is excellent.
The main target audience is asians who can finally live out their fantasy of driving like a normal person and arabs who can finally drive their dad's car without totaling it on the side of the highway. No price is too high because it's still lower than the base line insurance premiums. So with Gran Turismo 7 out for a little over a week now, (and I still haven't got to the selling grandma's organs phase to get a PS5 yet) how has the game been? The reception I have been hearing that it feels grindier than past GT games, and the in-your-face microtransaction enticement (the "Top-up" banner that comes up whenever you make a purchase in-game) feels way too blatant.
Be careful with haybales, they're not static but they will end your combo.Five hours in FH4. Britain is quite beautiful, but cramped. Trees in the countryside are just randomly placed. This is a problem as FH4 gives you points for "vandalism," knocking down small objects like trees, fences, rocks. Some trees stop you in your tracks.
Character customization is clothing only with presets. You cannot customize your hair, face, eyes. So many of them look the same as you race around.
It's part simulation, part arcade. Arcade comes from how you accumulate points through passes, drifting, vandalism, airtime, etc. Simulation comes from damage affecting performance. (That's a setting, I believe)
Cars can be used obtained through currency or through a wheel spin. So far, I've unlocked five cars through the wheel spin.
Will need more time with FH4 to get used to driving. I shy away from it as I'm not the best racer.
I've hit a couple, my combo kept going. Must be a glitch. Are you a Forza veteran?Be careful with haybales, they're not static but they will end your combo.
Huh, I could be wrong though I swore I lost combos to it. Vet? Naw, I'm just a casual player.I've hit a couple, my combo kept going. Must be a glitch. Are you a Forza veteran?
Are you a regular at Forza? I struggle with maintaining speed with turns.Huh, I could be wrong though I swore I lost combos to it. Vet? Naw, I'm just a casual player.
You disable the driving line? If you did I suggest turn it to braking only to help you get a feel for how much brake to use when entering a turn. Though you will lose some of cr bonus for using it.Are you a regular at Forza? I struggle with maintaining speed with turns.
I did for the D class Championship event. I used Ingrid Bergman's car of choice. I won the event, but I noticed turning was difficult to manage without hitting the wall. You disable the driving line? Don't forget Crazy Taxi. The soundtrack is one of the best. The DRIVER series is a perfect racing game, and I refuse to believe that you can’t say otherwise.
FTFY. Cheesy story, over-the-top physics, yep a stuntman's game. The DRIVER series is a perfect stuntman game, and I refuse to believe that you can’t say otherwise.
