It's interesting (if this is actually true) that they did another Hot Wheels Expansion, as I liked Blizzard Mountain in FH3 more than Hot Wheels. I thought the cross-promotion expansion was going to be Fortnite, given how many collaborations that game has, and Forza Horizon is considered to be the Fortnite of racing games.

Presumably, that is the reason why there's the delay between the DLC release, as well as how we still don't have any news about the new Forza Motorsport game.

As for selling cars (for currency, I presume), Gran Turismo 7 does not have that option, even though previous GT games had that feature, and the devs said that selling cars would be re-added to the game, although they didn't say when it would be re-added.

Given how GT7 dropped the ball, this release is all on Turn 10 to not screw this up.

And the 1st FH5 Expansion will be Hot Wheels, as leaked earlier.

It looks like there will be a Snowy area on the map. I'm not sure how big the whole area will be though.

And Gran Turismo 7's 1.17 update added Watkins Glen, and added the rotatable chase cam that was in GT Sport's Beta, something that other racing games have as a standard feature, and on launch.

I really liked the physics of The Crew, because I play with a keyboard (ever since nfs1) and I feather my turns by tapping. In forza horizon that maneuver spins me out because I'm left with only binary full blast turns, or weak soggy turns that start way oo gradual, no method of controlling intensity manually during gameplay.

Are there any games out there with the crew's physics but still in the same genre as open world variety-ish racing?

...Never even thought to try. I have gamepads and such, I just always got better results with the keyboard. Seems like the mouse would be awkward, but anything is worth a shot.

Got Redout 2. The first one I just didn't jive with but this one I'm all in on. I have yet to be able to place in a single speed trial but the rest of the game has been conquerable and I love the speed. Hoping for a swiftly-added VR function, because I'm a masochist.
