Hello everyone! A while back in March/April, Chris had the idea to sell his father's stamp collection.
https://sonichu.com/cwcki/Stamps

He opened up a raffle whose entries were limited to purchasers within a certain time frame and the video raffle was conducted on May 1st.

The prizes were to be:
One winner to receive a Son-Chu custom figure and a Skylanders Avatar doll.
Fifteen runners-up to each receive a Skylanders Avatar card

During this time, i had purchased a stamp that I had left review on here:
https://kiwifarms.net/threads/fb-3-27-raffle-to-win-a-son-chu-figure.29536/page-8#post-2166887

Well turns out all I had to do was buy the stamps and get them shipped to my house and watch the livestream and listen to the name Chris said at the end, I just won!

I took photos of everything and wanted to share them with you, along with some thoughts regarding the delivery, handling, and receiving of these prizes.

View attachment 276915 Two things to note here; the return address is still Christian Chandler, and not Christine. The other thing to notice is that this was shipped two days ago, when in the raffle drawing video, Chris stated "Shipped out sometime June-ish. June-ish now means Septermber.

View attachment 276916 Inside the box was this envelope with some wizard on it that was already opened.

View attachment 276917
There was this letter inside the envelope pretty much saying "Sorry, it's not the full thing, I've been busy with everything else. " Although there is one point that makes me curious "I still have a lot of self improvements to make" I've been heavy on Chris for not willing to surrender his Ego, and am actually kind of surprised he admitted a flaw.
View attachment 276918 This was a second letter, however I have no idea what it is talking about. Sounds like something from this Skylanders thing.

Delivery date: 3 months late, Handling: As said before the Son Chu box itself wasn't properly closed after opened, so bits were found in shipping box. Also the grey bits are assumingly either broken off, or broken in handling. Receiving: Although I have received Son Chu, I have not received a Skylanders doll. A Long-Small t-shirt doesn't fit many people, and I am assuming that is what size Chris thinks my cover to be (wrote in female name of a friend), All in all, I'm happy it [finally] got here; however like Chris said before "There are a lot of improvements to be made." The thing of most value in this set of prizes is hand written evidence of Chris saying "I need to make a lot of self improvement." I guess it is kind of weird [and foolish], but I value this little tidbit of hope than I do with everything else.

Thanks in all for da update and I guess I'm glad you :informative:'d us but seriously if this raffle involved you giving Chris money, then shame on you!

That money could have been easily have been spent on someone/something important. Apparently your finances aren't an issue so never mind your financial needs. Assuming you have no financial needs or concerns of your own ( which you obviously much be mad rich if you're buying shit from Chris to get to be part of this useless raffle. You could have sent that money to a charity, or even more importantly, to me to help support my love for doing heroin and Xanax. I mean at least if was sent to me it would have been for a really good cause

Chris, on the other hand, will use that money to buy some vidya he'll only play for 15 to 30 minutes until he gives up on how the game is harder than the first oppenent you face in any mortal kombat game on novice mode. And if it's not for vidya, or not just for vidya, it'll be Legos, qsands, or funding people like doopie.

Finally let me conclude by saying this to you, Philosophy Phil. I really enjoy you as a member here. You make great posts, but it's important for me to show anyone here that wants to buy or donate to Chris that there are a many better things to financially contribute to, like sending me money so I can be feeling good as fuck.

First and foremost don't pozload my negholep, second in the situation where you feel the need to pozload my negholep don't use real dollar bills or credit card for scraping undigested oats.

Raffle or not you should know better.

But, different people prefer pozzing negholesp differently so who am I to judge?

$15.99 Breakaway (Base figure) + $15.99 Hot Rod (Face, guns, exhaust pipes, spoiler) + $5.99 Sawback (Son-Chi + base for the 'Sonichu' head because it was orange) + $20.99 Brainstorm (guns) = $58.96 minimum. This does not factor in the following:
- cost of supplementary materials (paint, CFMM, color printing, etc.)
- how much Chris paid extra for figures (namely Brainstorm, that figure was a 2009 release and the house fire was 2014, so it is unlikely Chris had acquired the figure before the fire. This means he most likely paid extra on top of the MSRP I used as a baseline as the toy was out of production by that point)
- shipping.

So, basically, this figure alone has a material cost of between $60-80 and will probably slowly come apart over time because the paint isn't sealed.
Holy fuck I looked up the Brainstorm at a local shop today and online and that fucker sells for thirty to forty. We're looking more at $70-90 here Prime. Chris spent almost a hundred bucks on someone that wasn't giving him asspats.

If spending £2.51 on Chris is enough for you to be sure he has no financial issues, I'd hate to look at your bank statements.

On the subject of giving Chris money as part of this, I disagree that Phillosophy Phil acted in the wrong here. Sure, he gave Chris money, but we're not talking $500 like the trackable credit card thing was. The amount was only $2.51, that's less than how much a single gallon of gas costs post-Harvey and honestly can't buy much of anything, maybe not even a cup of coffee.

Besides, given the contents of the box, $2.51 probably didn't even cover the shipping charges so ultimately it isn't like Chris actually got the pocket change here.

What baffles me is that it was all for two tiny-ass guns that weren't originally even part of the 'sample' model Chris showed off in that 48-minute trip into a hellish mindscape.

I love threads like this. You can literally watch the CWC Discussion forum hivemind in real time consider whether to trash or praise OP. Good discussion guys.

That thread is a train wreck, Phil you are a massive faggot.

*Update*
Something interesting came in the mail as well, figured that I wanted to share it with you guys first. I'm assuming this was supposed to be sent out before the package, but it came after.

No idea on the girl in the middle, but interesting to note the signature which is dated 3/2000.

Chris is saying "Hmm Sorry about the lateness of the prizes, (not the quality), please think about giving me more money on Patreon. What little hope I thought I had gained from Saturday has now been erased.

No idea how much a Touch Note costs to make, and no idea how much first class mail costs either; still it was a neat little surprise I guess.

Seeing some of these postcards and such really makes me question why Chris doesn't go fully digital on his art work. I mean I know why he won't but considering he's lazy as hell, he'd actually be able to benefit from being able to easily copy and paste things on a computer.

Why do Sonichu and Rosechu always look like they're somewhere between mildly annoyed to seriously pissed off?

Even when they're helping a little, crippled girl hold up a sign?

That's what I need to know.

Along with: Is it general laziness or finances that kept Chris from sending it for that long?

EDIT: If I had to guess, the 3/2000 date and the obviously taped in later text is because Chris was too lazy to make a new drawing, and just grabbed one from the pile that seemed to fit the occasion. Also: He's really gotten worse, hasn't he? Not just proportion and technical drawing skills but also just stuff like coloring outside of the lines...
