Ramadan killings

Islamic terrorists love to murder people during Ramadan. Although Ramadan is a time of fasting, self-restraint, and reflection for most Muslims, Islamist terrorists believe that there is no better time to rape, hurt, and murder people. In fact, the head of ISIS has encouraged its militants to kill as many "kuffir" as possible. Because of the sheer volume of attacks during Ramadan by groups like ISIS, Boko Haram, and so on, I thought it would be a good idea to have a general thread on this time period.

I'll get started with some of the most prominent attacks so far:
I got depressed and stopped looking for news. This is probably just a third, if not less, of what's happened just since Ramadan started. Unfortunately, we're probably going to be seeing a lot more attacks, both in the Middle East and in the West.

I would love to see a counter like the one they had (have?) in Times Square about the USA National Debt.
 
Earlier this week, Islamist militants in Bangladesh killed an employee of a Hindu monastery. Over the past few years, they've been busy assassinating atheists, secularists, Hindus, Christians, gays, and academics to purge the country of its religious and social minorities, so it's not strictly Ramadan related, but they are ramping things up over there. Most recently they killed a policeman's wife, so the government of Bangladesh has finally been forced to publicly claim they will go after the Islamists

The Religion of Peace isn't an unbiased website, but they do keep track of Islamic terrorist attacks. According to the sources they've compiled, 376 people have died in Islamic terrorist attacks since June 5th:

Since you know about the subject, could you please write a very short description of the main islamic sects and their differences from your own personal perspective? I'm looking for a more "hands on experience" than some dry wikipedia collection.

Maybe there is some ideological difference that makes the Wahabbi ones this trigger happy?

Hanafis, Malikis, Hanbalis Shafi'is and Zafiris are the primary schools of Sunni Islam, Hanafi and Hanbali being most widespread.
Shia has Twelver, Jafari and Ismaili schools. However I don't know further than that as I am not Shiite.
What makes Wahabbis so trigger-happy is that they take the word of the Quran overboard and to the extreme, putting emphasis on political power and the unjust killing of Non-Muslims, forgetting that we're only supposed to do so if they break a peace treaty and kill people of our own. The Quran tells us to be just people, and this tends to fly over their heads thinking that their disgusting killings will please Allah.

Because our "allies" in Saudi Arabia are Wahabbi scum.

Because doing so would acknowledge that there are indeed legitimate and mainstream interpretations of the Koran and the Islamic religion as a whole that encourage violence, terror, and supremacism. The (chiefly liberal) politicians would rather continue to endorse the idea that Islam and Islamic terrorism are like Day and Night.

The other side of the coin is that many politicans think that trying to stabilize a region is getting in a wars and half assed occupations while trying to still be in good terms with " regional allies" specially the ones with oil, money and backhanded Wahabbi politics.
