They should not discriminate based on speech or politics. However, in case of fraud, it would be logical to step in.
Why? To cut down on Chris Chan's lego bucks? To save the people who give money to Brianna Wu some change? Patreon gets paid their cut either way. They'd have to spend time and effort (and money) judging each case when someone claims that they didn't get what they were promised. What about when someone says they didn't get something in the mail but the creator says they sent it?
Nah. Just let the retards spend their money and take a cut off the top.
