This "being possessed by Sonichu" thing has been going on for a weird amount of time...
Doesn't Sonichu have a wife and kids he should be getting back to? Wouldn't Sonichu hate not being about to run around fast and freely? Does he not want to fight crime and save the world anymore?
Chris doesn't seem to even understand his own characters, being in Chris' fat body to take care of Barb for months doesn't sound like something a Sonic & Pikachu recolour would want to do.

If you're talking about that Arbitarch server, from what I understand he barely dipped in his toes in there other than to tell people he had "big Merge visions incoming" on occasion. Everything else was a hot mess of autistic mod power abuse, Aqua posting NSFW in a channel full of kiddies, and circle-jerking.

One of my earliest memories was eating all those Flintstones vitamins when I was like 3 and getting yelled at. I blamed my imaginary friend because that's what the motherfucker is for. Point is I didn't have to get my stomach pumped, they were delicious, and Chris is just a retard.

I bet that really messes with his ego and autism. On one hand, people bounce up to him going "OMG CHRISCHAN CAN I GET A SELFIE???" then on the other, the movers and shakers don't want anything to do with him.
It's pretty clear, even now, a decade plus later, that Chris still believes that he's some sort of genius, and if it wasn't for those dang trolls, he'd have it made. That's an ego the size of Mount Everest at work. I doubt he has the mental capacity to understand deflection but it's just mind boggling he still hasn't picked up what's really wrong with himself.
Probably explains the Sonichu possession. He sees people always complaining about not doing the comic, so instead of putting actual effort in, he'll use his new god powers to just be Sonichu. In his mind, that's even better than doing comics.

Yeah, that ego is incredible. He really believes he can do no wrong, and his upbringing/internet experiences only reinforced it. I seem to recall him demonstrating the tiniest inkling of self-awareness on some very rare occasions, specifically during instances of duress (though the actual occasions don't readily come to mind lol; maybe I'm just being too optimistic). But it's all in vain. The guy's basically on perpetual auto-pilot.

Chris wrote himself into a corner by saying that the body swap will end when the Merge happens and he gets to go to BABScon.
Since that won't happen, he would have to get bored or inconvenienced by the RPing and admit that his vision was wrong in order to go back to Chris mode.

The real kicker is that there isn't even any semblance of consistency or logic to his powers or lore, anyway. Considering he can just explain something with magic nonsense (as he's been doing forever already), all of his "iT's hArD tRaiNinG mY PoWeRs" etc. is nothing more than baseless fluff. It really highlights how dumb/thirsty his enablers are.
